Chapter 19

HAZEL'S POV:

"Listen to me, Hazel. I didn't have sex with Tracy. For fuck's sake, she's in one of the guest rooms. I might not really fancy this whole situation we're both in, but I can't cheat on you with someone else. Tracy is my friend and that's where it ends. I told you we were going to figure this out, didn't I?"

Those words from last night rang in my head and somehow, I had held onto it, hoping he meant what he had said.

But here he was, hugging Tracy like his life depended on it. Men were liars and she meant it.

When Xavier finally drew away from Tracy, he saw me. He didn't look guilty at all. I didn't see any remorse in his eyes and that was when I knew he did that to split me.
