In as much as her words hurt me, relenting was the last of what I was planning to do

I bellowed my chin an old raised it again, my gaze directly on her, she was more or less concerned.

Probably I meant nothing to her. My words were probably the last of what she wanted hearing now, I knew of all the resentments she might had towards me, and to think of it was really heartbreaking. But giving up just like this was something I wasn't going to do.

Rudolph supported me in this fight; the pursuit of getting back our mates.
