"You can leave" I said to the guard as he bowed and left.

I took my gaze back to the letter, staring at the last lines. "I'll do anything to have you back."

In as much as I stared at it with resentments, it was also in a way funny. He was so confident to think that he can possibly do anything to have me back.

He made it sound like I was his treasure that had gone missing and he would go out of his way to find it and take possession of it.

I hated the fact that he had so much hope of having me back.

There was a difference between forgiving a person and going back to the relationship you two was shared, and if Darren thinks that he can get his way to me, then he was highly mistaken, he must have presumed that I was that easy to woo.
