Miranda's POV

I was strict and plain to him, I just couldn't give him what he wanted.

"Pl..please Miranda." He said holding unto my legs, a once powerful alpha kneeling at the foot of a woman.

"Stop this Darren." I said, I too was feeling embarrassed, what if someone walks in here and behold such a scenario, what will they think of me? That I am too cruel to let an alpha kneel before me?

"I won't get up untill you agree to forgive me."He said in reluctance.

"Fine, I have forgiven you." I said to him.

"Are you serious?" He asked as I nodded, he jerked to his feet, hugging me tightly.

I disengaged from him immediately. "I'm sorry." He apologized immediately after realizing what he did.

"You should know that I have forgiven you, that means I am not mad at you." I said, I could see the enthusiasm in his face.

"But." I began staring into his eyes, he now had mixed emotions, anticipating for what I would say next. "We can never come back to being mates, you must know and come to live with f
