TYRION.
The camera footage was cleared. I had searched and tried to recall the face of the young lady who came into my room in the resort last night but to no avail. All I can remember is leaving a wolf bite on her body but still don't know the exact part of her body that bore that mark. It was somehow, I didn't even understand myself any longer. I was searching for the young lady I spent the night with, and at the same time secretly loving and protecting Eden, and then finally in a relationship with the woman my parents loved and wanted me to marry. To be the Alpha Prince's right-hand man as they wished, I had to have a woman who would be my Luna soon just like the Prince, and knowing that they had hated Eden from the start, there was no use mentioning her to them as the woman I wanted. My parents had told me that I had an Alpha gene and trait hidden in me, and it would cause commotion if it got known since they were Betas. At times, I wonder how I ended up being an Alpha when my parents were Betas, but it didn't take a toll on me since I was living fine with them, and the Alpha trait is hidden so that no one would find out. “She is here to see you—” one of my guards announced and left the room immediately. I turned to the door and watched her come in. She was Ava, the lady I chose just to make my parents happy. She bowed to me. “Tyrion!!” having a smile on her face, she walked forward. I feel so sorry for her because there's no atom of love I have for her. If I can find the lady I spent the night with, I will likely pay her and send her out of the Pack too. I wouldn't want anything that would stop me from loving Eden. “Did you hear that she got a scholarship to study in the same school as you? I wonder who did that…..the Alpha King must be pissed off.” Ava got seated and crossed her legs. She is one of those who bully Eden, and I think that's why I detest her the most. I had my shirt on. “You just returned with the Alpha Prince. Won't you spend some time with me?'' She stood up, her face twisted because I was about to leave. I gave her a quick look. “My mother is here. She can keep you company until I return. I will be fast about it. Just text me anything you need and I will get it on my way back.” I took my cell phone and dashed out of the room. It was my mother who chose her and not me. If I have a choice when it comes to loving or hating my parents, I will have nothing to do with them—I will despise them to the last. When Prince Geralt rejected Eden, I knew she would be hurt, but I loved it. I was trying to get over the mandatory I was given to choose a lady to become the Prince's right-hand man, and that was why I got drunk and ended up having a one-night stand. I drove off the house to see a friend who was a hacker. “How is everything going? Did you find her?” He shook his head. “I've hacked the whole server but didn't find the footage. Looks like the lady paid them to wipe it off…” “Then she must be one rich asshole. I shouldn't bother then, since she won't come looking for me.” I brought a bundle of money and placed it on his table. “Did you successfully clear the dues?” He rolled his eyes. “I did! For the first year. Will you continue doing it yearly until she graduates?” I nodded, my lips stretched into a slight smile. “I will, until she becomes a graduate…” “What about her size? You will make her your woman despite how pathetic she is?” he scoffed and stood up. “I didn't know you would continue loving her till now. She must hate you so much…” I sighed. Kinsey was telling the truth. Eden hates seeing me. It isn't her fault, I caused everything, yet she took the blame all alone. She got demoted to an Omega and is always bullied. If I had known what was going to happen, I wouldn't have taken her home that day. I just regret obeying my parents that day and the time will come when I will shift them aside and follow my heart. But first, she needs to be a graduate like the others. I'm very sure her bullying will be minimized before I marry her. The Alpha King won't find the source of her scholarship—I and my friend alone know the source. I turned to face Kisey who was searching for something in his drawer. “What about the tracker? I put three in their house today, and I need more of it…” He glanced at me. “You will put one in the cab, and then the others in the wristwatch and school bag. That will help you locate her easily.” his face contorted. “You're taking a big risk. Why not just forget about her and focus on Ava? Do you want to have two women? She's a cursed omega and the King will likely demote you too if you have her…” I licked my lips. Only if he knows that I'm the reason Eden is in that situation until today. No matter what my parents do, I will surely have her at the end, I don't care how Ava will feel about it. “Just get the tracker so I can fix it all before sending over the school materials to her.” I gulped and winked. When will the truth resurface? I alone know the truth about this whole thing from years ago, but I'm scared of leaking it because it would affect me deeply.EDEN.Standing beside the mat, I stared at the school materials that were brought to me two days ago. It's been three weeks since I graduated from high school, and today was my first day in college. I feel so ashamed despite how I longed to be in college. Each time I recall that I would be bullied there, I tend to change my mind.I won't! The anonymous person who wouldn't even let the Alpha King sort him out did enough, so I won't let the risk he or she took be in vain. I picked up my clothes and had them on. “It's my size. How did the person know the type of clothes I prefer to put on?” I giggled.Ready to leave, I stepped out of my room to see a cab waiting at the compound. The whole place was quiet, which meant that Kiah had left for school already. I walked close to the cab and peeped, a driver was seated in it.I waved my hand. “Hi!” the door glass went down. “Who are you here for? Kiah already left….”“It's you! I was paid to always pick you up before and after school.”I chuckl
TYRION.It was 11 am, yet Eden was not yet in school. I had sent Kisey to take a tour around, secretly in search of her, but he returned with no positive response. Her fellow fresheners had already taken three classes and were on break.I dialed the number that was registered on her cell phone but it was switched off. “He didn't power the cell phone or was it taken away from her?” I redialed it and it was still off. “She's supposed to be here if the driver picks her up.”“Then check on the driver as well,” Kisey suggested, so I had to put the driver on call. He picked up on the third ring. “Hello, you didn't get her here? Are you okay?”There was silence for some time before the driver spoke up. “I didn't find her when I reached there. The security had said that a cab picked her up, so I thought it was her sister's cab that picked her up as well…”My cell phone almost slipped from my palm. Was this man insane or what? “Why then didn't you report to me? She isn't here until now—what do
EDEN.A resounding slap landed on my face, taking me to the floor. I spit a mouth full of blood. It's been hours since I was brought here based on my imagination, and I've been beaten mercilessly without being told of my offence.A palm dragged me to the side and pressed me against the tree. They had tied my eyes, so I couldn't see…..and my limbs, so I wouldn't move on my own. I spitted out again, unknowingly to me, it touched one of them….followed by a heavy hit that made me almost lose my senses at that moment.“This bitch spit this f*cking blood on me….” he yelled, fizzing with energy. I could tell that he would hit me again when a feminine voice made him halt his actions. “Didn't you just see what she did to me?”“I said, enough! You can't kill her!!” came the feminine voice.Who was that? Was she here to save me? I shook my head. No one would come near them without knowing who they are. They must be buddies but are uncomfortable with the way they hit me repeatedly.“Untie the sca
EDEN.A yawn drew my lips apart. My eyes slowly opened and the first thing I saw was a white ceiling. “I was in the woods—” I closed my eyes again, then opened it after a few seconds. “How did I get here?” I sprang up from the bed.I clutched my chest with both hands, my jaw gaping. “Someone brought me here….” I began examining my body and there was no wound on my skin again. Even my broken lips were healed. “My wolf isn't this active. Who must have healed me?”The sound of the door made me turn to the door, causing me to reflect on something. Before I passed out, I was sure to have seen a masculine figure, but I didn't get to know who that was. Was he the one who brought me here? I didn't develop wings suddenly, right?A nurse walked in and halted her steps along the way. She seemed unable to contain her excitement that she dropped the tray of medications she was holding and hurried to me.“How… how….” I couldn't find the words to say any longer. She held my hands, taking a good look
TYRION.I rode my car into our compound and parked at the garage. My arms rested on the steering wheel while my head leaned on it. At least, Eden was fine, and it's a relief too that she didn't get to see me.No matter how much she detested me, hiding in a shadow while protecting her would be the best thing to do. I wouldn't want her to know that I've been the one doing all this, or she might reject it all. I have to see that she achieves her aim and lives her life without regrets—then I will also get rid of the guilt in me.I felt a liquid on the side of my lip and touched it with my finger. “Her blood!” I smiled and wiped it off. “She is my mate…..” That was the interesting part, but will I handle it? Can I control the mate bond so it won't be exposed that we are mates? If it gets out that we are mates, my parents will force me to reject her—and I don't wish to.I pulled out the car key and alighted from the car. Until I gather enough might to oppose my parents and point my finger i
EDEN.I stood at the school gate, gazing while the other students walked into the compound. They all glared at me and teased me, but I was ignorant of whatever they had in store. This college isn't made for Omegas in the Packs. Only the Alphas and Betas are admitted into the school, but here I am, standing before the school gate and pondering on why and how I became a student of such a school.‘I'm a Beta, Eden. Don't think of me as an Omega.’ my wolf interrupted my thoughts. ‘We should be in class now…’ she added and I nodded, taking slow steps towards the school gate. There are schools made for just the Gammas and Deltas. Most Omegas don't study further after high school. Some are not privileged to go through high school but I did even after I was demoted. Maybe I was given that grace since my deceased father was the Chief Beta of the Pack. The moment I stepped into the school compound, I felt goosebumps all over my body. I could see my fellow women turning me into a laughingstock.
TYRION.I sat before Kisey at the cafeteria. We had ordered a meal which will soon be served to us. Envisioning how Eden was molested and bullied by her sister just a few minutes ago still haunted me.If only I could help her and things wouldn't get out of my control—I wouldn't hesitate to bring an end to all these. The moment I step out to stand by her now, both of us will suffer it and that's not what I wish. The sound of the plates served on the table before me pulled me out of my thoughts. I raised my head to look at the waitress. “Did you send it over?” I asked him and he nodded. “Don't forget our code….”He grinned and left, then I picked up the chopping stick.“Are you sure he didn't find you in the restroom?” Kisey inquired. He had seen me hurry out of there when I noticed that Eden was searching for me with my scent. “She knows that whoever it is that saved her from the woods is her mate, and she must find him.”I licked my lips, nothing was interesting in this world when you
EDEN.The door was shut behind me. I slammed my palm on it repeatedly but no one responded. “She told me to put on my school uniform as a freshener but everyone is having their most expensive clothes on.” I rubbed my nose, staring at the door. She must think that being engaged to Tyrion is an achievement, and attending her engagement eve is so crucial. Now that I was embarrassed and thrown out, she will love it that way, when she was the one who insisted that I would come.I turned to take my leave since there was nothing else I could do. There's no cloth at home that would suit the ceremony so it would be of no use changing up and returning here again.I boarded a cab that would take me home. I can't waste the little strength I have while trekking. When the car stopped before the gate, I pulled out the chain on my neck which came with my school properties, and handed it to the driver. “It will cost more than the money. Just take it since I don't have any money to pay you.” I explaine
