The sun batted my face making my brows scrunch and my eyelids depart open. I growled feeling a sharp headache hit me hard making a growl slip from my lips.

I manage to sit up leaning my back on the bed my stare roaming around the unfamiliar environment.

I held it in my forehead feeling the sharp headache strike through. I bit on my lower lip trying to fight back the pain that I feel.

Henry brought me here but then where is he? My stare roared around trying to spot his location yet to no avail.

Sage's thought crossed my mind making me cry even harder than before.

I'm sure the news of my disappearance reached him long before we left the area. Sometimes the way Sage keeps track of me, one could mistake it for care and protection when the truth is, that he didn't want me running away.

Sage doesn't know how much damage he has caused. He led me on and let me think that there'd be something more between us is absurd.
