Whatever it was that was being said, Alpha Leo didn't pay attention. He had heard one piece of information and that was enough. He had practically been on the edge to strangle the shivering wolf who passed through his territory.

How he hated rogues. They made his skin cringe and his blood turn cold each time he set his eyes on them. And one dared to trespass on his territory. His own Pack House.

That one word he mentioned was enough to have his blood boil to the highest degree. He had to clench his fists at his sides with looks enough to kill, while the rogue kept blabbering on.

Alpha Light.

His name doesn't fit him right, he's supposed to have been named Darkness for his actions today, he sneered in his mind.

The rogue had mentioned Alpha Light as the one who had ordered him to spy on his territory. The bastard! It wasn't after too much beatings did the rogue mention their plan to have his pack cleared.

For what reasons, he did not know. He had been best friends with Alpha Light since childhood. They often had lunch together in the past, they both took turns in sleeping over and they did approximately everything together. They were called brothers by everyone, because Alpha Leo wouldn't be going anywhere without Alpha Light's knowledge, and vice versa. They were really close.

Or so he thought.

He glanced back at the wolf who sprawled on the floor like a begging fool at the mercy of his Lord. He had not shifted back to his human form and Leo grawled, his face full of disgust.

"Shift back to your human form, your ugliness makes me cringe!" He bellowed, his eyes emitting daggers enough to stab him right there and then.

He did as he was told immediately, his head still looking down.

"What is it that you are addressed by?" Leo interrogated, his voice putting all of his authoritative tone out.

"Rain." He muttered, his voice slightly shaky.

"And for how long has this been going on with, the spying I mean?" Leo said, as he came to where he was kneeling, his right hand going up to Rain's face. He lifted his chin to make him look at him before spitting into his face.

Rain was shaking over, tears starting to fall down his face.

"It's been a week now." He barely muttered, as his word got caught on his throat, he wiped his face with the back of his palm and bent over as before.

Leo growled, how dare he wipe his spit off his face! He should have been happy that he was still generous even up to this moment to let him live still. The tolerance he had towards him made him begin to wonder whether or not he had been hypnotized. If it was in the past, he would have had him executed.

He spat on him again, this time with a glare that seemed to tell him he wouldn't like his next action.

"Good." He spat viciously, before nodding his head.

"Two weeks?" He said, as if he hadn't heard him well the last time. "What the fuck!"

"Yes, Alpha." Rain answered.

" Did you hear that?" Leo said, turning to look in the direction of his Beta. He and Bob had been close friends ever since he entered college, and they both got stuck with one another up to now.

Bob nodded, a slight frown appearing on his face. He too was surprised by the sudden pronouncement. He was sure Leo would pick on him for not knowing about that piece of information.

"A rogue had been in and out of my territory for a week now without being noticed. What happened to your sensory organs, is it no longer functioning well? Or has it been blocked by the smell of food?"

Bob remained silent, he knew better than to talk back at his Alpha. Even though they were friends, he needed not to step over some boundaries. No one was to interrupt the great Alpha, who was mighty and powerful. Unless the person was asking for a death sentence.

"This is really absurd!" He fumed, his wolf at bay now. He walked from place to place, panting with his index finger stuck on his mouth. "Where is Jack?"

Jack, his omega and third in command of his pack, was in charge of basically everything that had to do with the activities of the pack. He was more to be held responsible, and he needed to account for what happened.

"Jack had gone to town. We needed supplies over here, and Dublin is known to have the best products." Bob explained, his eyes fixed on him.

"I see."

He stopped pacing and stood in front of Rain. His left hand jacked his chin up and the rogue cried out in pain.

"Keep quiet and answer me." He growled, his nails digging deep into his skin. "You mean you have been coming here unnoticed for a complete one week?"

Rain shook his head, "No."

Leo looked at him confused for a moment, his eyes looking deep into his eyes.

"No?"

"I mean, I haven't been the one spying on you. This was my first time to be honest. And I meant to do it secretly and report. But I messed up." Rain pouted, his face showing Leo was hurting him.

The idiot didn't know when to speak and what to, Bob thought, sighing slightly.

Leo burst into laughter, and he furrowed his face at him but he ignored him. That wasn't the reaction he expected. He expected Leo to be mad, god damned mad but here he was laughing. He was definitely unpredictable.

"Did you hear that Bob? He just got to spy today and he was caught. The other bloke had been getting away free but he didn't. Seems like his Alpha had chosen a loser this time around." His last sentence was a sneer, and he turned back to Rain.

Leo stood frozen, his expression blank. He had been messaged through the mind link by one of his warriors.

Alpha Light was in his territory, with a number of his pack members with him. He probably sensed that the rogue he sent had been caught.

So he actually had the guts to come over here, he thought.

But what had been bugging him, the one piece he couldn't voice out to anyone was to why the fact that Alpha Light hadn't sent his Beta or his third in command rather than a rogue who could be perceived instantly to spy on him bothered him.

Was he trying to attack him in broad daylight, he wondered.

Because obviously no one would have expected anything from his Beta or Omega. It wouldn't have been off, if they did it well but oh.

"What happened Alpha?" Bob said in a serious tone, upon noticing his change of mood.

"Delete him." He commanded, his left hand snapping towards Rain. "He's of no use to me anymore."

Bob looked at him, and looked like he was going to contradict him, but decided against it. The last time he did it was not funny. Leo had reminded him of his place, and he decided to always execute his orders without questions. And anytime he used the word delete, meant he wanted their death brutal enough but that he wouldn't do.

He nodded, before watching him go. He knew something was wrong, whatever it was didn't seem good, and shook his head in sadness.

He turned to Rain, who was open mouthed at Leo's order. He had been thinking that Leo wouldn't kill him, that if he wanted, he would have done that a long time ago.

Bob didn't wait for him to think more or beg at his feet for mercy, before taking his sword out and slashing at his heart. He moved away, before his body was covered with blood. The wound he had left was wide as blood was gushing out of his body in turrets. More like a waterfall.

He wiped his sword clean on his pantsuit before sliding it back to its sheath. He moved to where the dead body was and covered his eyes. Dragging him by his legs, he carried him closer to the wall, while he waited for Jack so they could dispose of the body.

Leo stood still, his killer look still on his face, as he watched his friend who had turned into an enemy overnight.

How could he not have noticed it? He thought, his head swelling with the sudden realization. It had always been there, that cold look in his eyes and the fake smile he always gave. It was too evident and he allowed himself to be fooled.

But not anymore.

Alpha Light was a man in contrast with Alpha Leo. While Leo was athletic and tall with aps which always showed with whatever he wore, Alpha Light was lean and average. He didn't exhibit the aura of a powerful alpha but his cunningness was his flag.

He wore a tight fitted shirt with a vest on it. His brown spiky hair stood proud in thin air, which didn't look like it had been brushed that day. His trousers looked okay, and all the while he stood looking around the hall.

Leo had asked the warrior not to let him in, and it was to be reported that it was his order, his very own order.

"I was told to stand here." Alpha Light complained, his voice faking pain and his right hand pointing to the floor. "You did?"

"Oh,yes,I did!" Leo thundered, his hands in his pockets now as he walked towards Light who seemed unaffected by his tone. Rather, a sneer appeared on his handsome face.

"So, what are you doing here?" Leo continued, his body nearly touching him. Alpha Light's pack members took out their swords and waited for an order from their alpha.

The two Alpha's who had once been friends before were glaring at one another. Regret was showing on Leo's face while a growl on Light's.

That was the atmosphere that met Bob when he walked in. He stopped at the entrance while he took everywhere in. his eyes traveled from one member of Alpha Light's Pack to another. He didn't look like the guy who had just killed a werewolf, he looked calm and emotionless but definitely no more intimidating than his alpha.

"What are you doing here?" Leo asked again, as he continued to eat vinegar. How he wanted to strangle him right there and then but he kept himself in check. He knew he was going to have to attack on his pack so he decided to let the thought pass for now.

Alpha Light shook his head, his head moving to the side while he chuckled. He looked at his pack members and his chuckle turned into laughter while they smiled back.

"Beware, your laughter might be your end." Leo warned, pointing at Alpha Light.

That made him chuckle more, and he touched his heart and feigned an attack.

"Oh, I'm afraid." Alpha Light commented, pretending to shake in fear. " You amaze me Leo. How can you ever eliminate me? Do I look so defenseless, now you have annoyed me. Pfft."

"You haven't answered my question." Leo said, ignoring his comment. " And you should have known by now that I hate being kept waiting. For the last time Light, and I won't repeat myself, what the hell are you doing here?"

"Rain. Where is he?" Alpha Light suddenly said, his tone serious now. He looked around, as if searching for him before turning back to Leo.

"I hope you didn't kill him?"

Leo, who was aware of his beta's pretence turned to look at him and Bob nodded.

Good. He thought.

Now, he could go to hell. It would teach him a lesson not to have rogues and peasants trespassing on his land.

"I did." He answered, squaring his face at him. "Any problem?"

He heard him curse, and a smile cornered his lips.

That was only meant to serve as a lesson though.

"That rogue, he was just as feeble as a human." He jeered him, his hand going in thin air to demonstrate what he meant. "You should have sent a stronger wolf, a wolf who wouldn't spill all secrets just because of some punishments."

Alpha Light startled, his eyes bulging in its sockets. "What secrets did he spill?"

After a pleasurable sex with Anne, Leo left her to catch a nap and he kissed her on her cheek before leaving. He stood before the gate of the dungeon, heaving some good amount of breaths in and out, before he finally unlocked the entrance and made his way to where his ex best friend and presently worst enemy laid. The dungeon looked crappy and worn out with a bad stench that could make the pit of a human stomach recoil in irritation, thereby causing a tornado of vomit. There leaning against a dirty wall is Alpha Light who raised his head immediately he heard someone get in. His face tipped into a frown as he stared haughtily at Leo who seemed to have a face that read, 'I can't wait to feed your intestines to the birds'. The two Alpha's stared at each other silently, as if they couldn't bear to stay in each other's presence. Leo started to walk close to him and Alpha Light didn't let his guard down as he watched his every movement. "Ttf, I have hundred things roaming in my mind rig

"What's up with you Jack? Your face is suddenly sullen." I inquired, my face pinched into a frown as I took in his mood. We are at the shopping mall, making true the lie I told earlier to the elders, more also because it was an opportunity for me to shop for classic clothes since I didn't come with any. Jack looked away. "It's nothing serious, Luna Anne. So just focus on your task please.""Do not talk to me in that tone of voice again Jack! What's wrong with you?" I fired, my hands gripping hard on the dress in my hands and I looked him with my head raised high. "Why have you not been opening up to me again? Is there something you are not telling me?"He shook his head. "No, nothing's wrong Luna. Everything's perfectly fine, and about my mood, I have mood swings.""It's fine then, if you are not going to tell me what the problem is but at least will you let me on the updates about the pack house? Where are they other concubines of the Alpha? I have only met two of them and I have be

"Nah, I do not have to prove that." Suddenly he barged in, and all went silent. I let out a soft oh as I stared at all the nine men who watched me in shock.I purposely did not want to look at Leo and I stared at everyone else except him. Fuck! I shouldn't have stood here like a statue, just staring like an unmoving object. Well since I caused this, I better fixed it back. "Hi, everyone. Jack and I were just leaving for the town, we have lots of things to purchase." I declared, then flashed them a smile. If there was anyone good in acting, it was me. I could convince you that I am a princess in distress whereas I was the offender."You see, that's her. I wasn't lying all these while when I said Alpha Leo here has found his mate." Alpha Light declared happily, and I creased my forehead into a frown. I pretended he was wrong about his statement. "Hold on, i guess there's a misunderstanding here." I began, then turned to look at Leo for the first time since they walked in. "My name is

I went still, what did he just say! How did I even think that I could outsmart Dad? Rogues were known to play smart, just how did I not think of it? And Dad is heartless, so after everything I have done so far for him he still recorded our conversations! Doesn't he know that if something like that leaked out that I will be doomed? "Dad, no, do not tell me y-o-u," I stuttered on the last word, then became silent as I listened to the conversation in his end. Mom was going hyper, she could not believe he could actually threaten me with that. After all risking my life to come here for his own selfish reasons, he still could do this to his own daughter. "Shut your dirty mouth up, Anne. It's been more than a month now since you went to Ireland, and yet, you have not succeeded in the simple task I gave to you. I wish more than anything you were given a wolf and your sister none, yes, she is not this slow witted as you are right now. Back here you used to play the intelligent one but it's

As if on cue, Leo and I separated immediately and I stared into his eyes. He was trying hard not to panic and I placed my hands on his chest. "Relax, okay? It's going to be alright." "He will be out in a short while, you may leave now." I ordered Jack, then grabbed Leo's boxers and placed it in his hands. He gave me a smile. "Thank you," I nodded my head then placed a soft kiss on his head before getting up from the bed. I too worn my clothes, straightened back my tattered hair and waited for Leo by the door. When he got dressed and ready to go downstairs, I hooked my hands in his as we stepped through the door. We met Jack standing by the door that led to the kitchen, his back to us and he seemed he was to be eavesdropping on some conversations."Jack." Leo called, and he spun towards us. He looked guilty and he immediately lowered his head. "Where are they elders?""They are talking in the compound, I heard Alpha Light mention something about taking the life of Her Luna. Most of

"It's high time I proved you wrong. Time to show you that I am very much romantic."After I said those words I sat down on him, my two legs stretching against his thighs then I grabbed his head in my hands and softly placed a soft kiss on his nose. I started to kiss him hard now that it seemed like we had been playing earlier. I tilt my head to one side, and puckered his lips with mine enjoying the velvety of them. Then my hands flattened against his chest and I played even his hands. Slowly I moved away to give we both time to catch our breath, then I flashed him a smile before kissing him back.It seemed like Leo was surprised by my sudden hunger because he digged his fingers into my anus but said nothing. That increased the throb between my legs because his silence heightened to my desire. Causing me to want him more and more.I broke contacts with him and he slowly whimpered causing a smile to rise to my lips. But I wasn't going to end the kiss, instead of answering his silent q
