Chapter 27 – Envy

Alex appreciated the fact that Luna stopped coming on too strong. In the beginning, she would usually highlight her claim that she is his mate. It has both positive and negative effects on him. The more he hears of it, the less he’s inclined to believe it. This one’s more out of spite. On the other hand, it also has the opposite effect.
