Chapter 25 – Tyler

The thing was, the young man didn’t want to talk about it. Not even when Clyde persisted on getting answers. He can only give his son a set of general advice when he doesn’t know the specifics.

“She doesn’t want you?” There was a change in the young man’s expression but Clyde couldn’t tell what it was. He seemed angry and disappointed, but he’s not lashing out. That’s something.

“Do you want her?”

“Well, once you’ve decided whether you want her or not, you better start building a good relationship with her. I know you have a sharp tongue. I’ve heard you talking to your friends. You’re crude and nasty things come out of your mouth. If you’ve talked to her like that, I can understand why she doesn’t like you.”
