Chapter 15 – Snow Mountain

They reached the territory near midnight. The silence was almost deafening, albeit littered with the sounds of crickets. Those patrolling the border welcomed them. Alex did inform his parents of the time they would be arriving. He looked at Luna, who’s asleep on his shoulder. Well, they all need rest. Surely, everyone can wait until tomorrow to discuss matters.

They drove the vehicles until they reached the pack house. He sighed, seeing his parents were actually waiting.

“Alright. Pack up and rest, everyone. You all did well.” He thanked his men and they grunted in reply. Alex carefully untangled himself from Luna.

The men to greet their Alpha and Luna before departing for their respective houses.

“You shouldn’t have waited. It’s very late already.” Alex greeted them as well before conversing.

Sab smiled before pulling him into a hug. “It’s the longest you’ve been gone from home. I was worried.”

Alex felt exasperated. He’s a grown-up man, yet his mother still treats him like a ch
