Chapter 14

As time went by, as usual, both Noah and Aaron went out without making a fuss, for which Mia is thankful.

Next day,

As usual, they opened a cafe; today, Aaron and Noah also came and sat at the same table.

Just like what happened yesterday today also Mia took responsibility to serve these two, 

As yesterday Bella also felt someone staring at her, but she couldn’t disappear who was staring at her.

At that time, a call came,

Seeing ‘Mom’ on the caller id

Bella picked up delightedly,

“Hello Mom, how are you? And calling me at this time, is everything okay? And how is Aunt? Why were your phones out of reach?” 

Bella didn’t give Anna a chance to say something; she just blabbered out.

She was actually very concerned as she didn’t talk properly with her Aunt the day before yesterday, and when she called yesterday but she couldn’t get through; that’s why she was trying to call them, but now she got a call from her mother, other than relief, she was worried. 

“Bella, calm down, sweetheart, we are okay, and the reason our phone was out of reach is that we are here,” Anna said in a loud voice.

“Here? Where?” Bella was confused

“Turn around,” Anna and Circe both said together.

Confused, Bella turns around towards the café’s door when she hears ‘ding.’

When she saw her mother and Aunt entering the café,

Bella was shocked, then reacted quickly, and ran towards them, and hugged them both tightly.

“Mom, Aunt” Bella’s voice was just above whispering like she was afraid, this is just a dream.

“My child, I am here, we are here” Anna patted Bella’s head lovingly.

Then Circe just smiled at Bella and patted her shoulder.

“How are you guys here? It's a really big surprise; I still can't believe it now” Bella was almost tearing up seeing her family here.

“We missed you, child; that’s why we came,” Circe said with a smile on her ever serious face.

“I don’t know what to say, but I am happy to see you guys here” Bella again hugged her mother, then Aunt.

Everyone looking at these interactions, many customers have a happy smile on their faces.

Both Mia and Olivia came towards them and greeted the elders with smiles.

They both have never seen Bella’s mother and Aunt in real life other than in video calls and photos.

And this is the first official meeting between both Bella’s family and friends.

“Hello, Aunts” 

Anna chirpily greeted them,

“Hello, girls, how are you?”  

Circe was silent, but after some time, she greeted, but there was no former cheerfulness, just a formal introduction.

“Hello” 

After that, she didn’t say anything, but no one noticed the dark glint passed in Circe’s eyes when she looked at the two friends of Bella.

Then her eyes turned towards one of the seats, and her brows furrowed.

‘There was something or someone? But who?’

Both Olivia and Mia looked at Circe, but they didn’t say anything.

Mia felt uncomfortable when she came in contact with Circe's eyes; she felt the other party could see through her skin’s layer to touch her soul directly.

This is something that can make anyone uncomfortable and uneasy.

“Okay, Mom, Aunt, come on in; I will serve you guys with our handmade delicacies; you never ate pastries of mine, right? Today I tasted it.” Bella was chirping like a little girl.

This is her business, without her family’s help, she and her friends opened this cafe, with her own money, when she earned from part-time work, so when she was showing it to her family, Bella obviously felt proud of her achievement.

Both Anna and Circe can see Bella’s eagerness; they also felt proud of Bella; after all, this is Bella's hard work.

Anna teared up seeing the mature Bella, who knows the world, and working and running her own cafe isn't a small matter.

Circe looked at Bella,  

‘Her Isa is absolutely good at everything.’

“But first, I would like to introduce you guys to each other formally. Via, Mia, this my mother, Anna, and my Aunt Circe; Mom and Aunt, this is Olivia and Mia, my two best friends and co-owners of this cafe.”

Bella has been immersed in the happiness of seeing family; she forgot about her uneasiness with someone staring at her.

Everyone smiled at each other,

“Oh… Bella, you talk with Aunts, me and Mia will go and serve the customer; if not, they will be definitely dissatisfied” Olivia looks around to see there are many customers, and there is no one serving.

Because everyone here is an old and daily customer; they have been acquaintances to each other for a long time; they didn’t show any dissatisfaction seeing no one serving there.

But that doesn’t mean they can hang the customer like this, so Olivia took the lead to go and fill.

Bella also looked around, then she also thought and got up, 

“Mom and Aunt, you guys can take a rest; I will also go and serve. After all, you guys just came from afar, and there will be jetlag; there is an office, you guys can go and take a rest,” Bella said to her mother and Aunt.

“You go and do your work; we will be okay” Anna smiled warmly and said

She always has a warm smile on her face. Whenever she talks, everyone will give attention to her; she has accumulated as a businesswoman. Of course, she is dominant, but her warm and kind face often makes people think she is just a kind and weak woman. Still, no one knows that she is also a cunning businesswoman.

Anyone can see that Bella and Anna are the same, even Anna and Circe are somewhat similar, so these three make people think they are sisters just by their looks, not two-generation people.

And many people do doubt that Anna and Bella are daughters of Circe, which was a joke which was always said whenever Circe was in a bad mood.

This may be the only thing for which Circe laughs happily, even though this thing isn’t actually a joke.

She just smiles happily whenever she hears Bella is her daughter, maybe because she loves Bella very dearly.

Anna and Circe were sitting and looking at the interface of the cafe and trio serving the customers happily and sometimes talking, laughing.

Anna looked at it with a happy smile; Circe isn’t much different, other than her eyes are only on Bella.

“Sigh, My daughter is really grown now; she can manage everything herself; I am really happy,” Anna said while dabbing her eyes.

“Then why are you crying?” Circe asked while looking at Anna weirdly 

Anna become speechless,

“It’s happy tears, I am happy,” Anna explained

She knows her sister is a really simple and rude person. For her, there is nothing in between; it is only right or wrong.

“Okay, I really don’t understand your emotions, but I will go to the office and sleep for a while; I am a little bit sleepy” Circe entered the office and slept there.

She wasn’t really a socially active person; she has always been the one who can huddle up in her laboratory for her whole life.

After seeing Bella for a while, she felt it was meaningless to sit and watch her, so she just left for the office where she can sleep and catch up on her sleep.

After all, she was emotionally drained the day before yesterday, and now that she saw her niece safe, she felt that her worries are really worthless. The more important thing is to catch up on her sleep because she has been doing some research. Now she is about to accompany her only niece; she wants to be active and awake.

Seeing her sister like that, for which Anna isn't a stranger to this type of behavior, Anna just let her do this and looked at how business is going on.

She was happy; in the past, her daughter being with her sister has always been naughty and, just like her sister Circe, hot-tempered.

Suddenly don't know what happened; just two and a half years ago, Bella became silent as she stopped doing many things like going out with Circe or going on a shopping spree,  nothing was there.

Then one day she took her luggage and dropped the bomb, 

She is going out to see the world and learn.

Her sister Circe directly opposed, but Bella was firm on this; because of that, Circe locked herself in the laboratory for almost a week before coming out, then out of nowhere, she agreed to Bella’s request, even though unwillingness was dancing on her face.

When Anna asked about this, she only said,

“Whatever she wants, she can do, I will never stop her, but we will be her home.” 

Even though Anna felt these straight words sound a little weird, she can understand the words clearly, but she couldn’t understand why her sister Circe said these words.
