Ava's Point Of View

If looks could kill, I would be dead by now, bleeding all over the floor with multiple incisions.

The other woman stood there, just staring at me without saying a single word. She didn't need to though, her eyes said it all. She hated every piece of my existence, she wanted me gone out of her and Kaden lives so she could have Kade. I could tell she felt threatened by me.

"What the hell do you think you are doing in here, who gave you the permission to come out of your room?" She screamed. Kaden must have not told her that he himself gave me the permission to step out of my chambers. Oh goodness, this lunatic looked very pissed all because of me.

"Kaden. He gave me permission." I just said. If you looked carefully you could literally see steam coming out of her ears. She looked beyond furious.

She was out for blood, whatever trouble she wanted to stir up, I didn't want any part in it this morning. I learnt my lesson pretty well from the last time and Kaden warned me

Ava's Point Of ViewA woman was stepping onto the stage towards a table set up in the center. She placed two bowls next to plates that were already prepared with food. Then she sat facing the pews and took a drink from one of the two glasses set as well. I was suspicious. Who was this stranger living within the goddess temple?"Won't you join me, Ava?" The woman suddenly asked loudly, her voice echoing throughout the room with ease. I ducked once again, trying to hide despite already being found. Then I was struck with another question, how the hell did she know my name? This felt really creepy."You don't want your food to get cold, do you?" The woman added. At the mention of food, especially food meant for my stomach rolled over with excitement even Lisa was now jumping in excitement. If anything could influence me to do something crazy, it had to be food. I took a deep breath and stood stubbornly, glaring at the strange woman suspiciously."What are you doing here?" I asked her bef

Ava's Point Of ViewThere was silence as I sat there, thinking about Mene's question. I could feel a great turmoil burn within me."Come, the temple exit is this way." she said, offering me her hand and I took it without even thinking, there was something about her presence, I couldn't explain it but it was comforting to me. With quiet determination, she began to lead me through a way out of the temple. We moved into a room, where wolves had no doubt previously come to worship the moon goddess and make offerings for their blessings. Now it was forever silent, removed from their culture.Mene led me further down a more secretive set of stairs until we were walking through the storage units. I spotted shelves of canned foods and preserves, but I wasn't given enough time to see exactly how extensive the food storage was. I was pulled into a rather dusty room and led through a series of cobwebs until Mene stopped to quietly lift an overhead latch. She hurriedly climbed up the steps that w

  • Alpha Kaden: THE PRIMORDIAL HYBRID    Marked

Kaden's Point Of ViewHow in bloody hell could this even be possible?!There were two gifted ones, that was impossible. What sick game was mother playing with me this time.First it was clear that Cassandra was the fated one who could break my curse and now it was her. My mate, Ava Sinclair.I had looked into Ava's eyes, unable to believe the truth. I was shocked to find the mark of the gifted one etched in her electric blue eyes. It was the shape of two crescent moons, both facing against each other. The very same ones Cassandra has on her back. This had to be some twisted plan set up by mother to get revenge on me from the grave, even after all this while mommy still holds a grudge. It was obvious Mother wouldn't be confined by something as meager as death, she knew for a fact that I would reject the mate she chose for me the instant we crossed part so she decided to make her the key I needed in breaking my curse.Clever, clever witch. Mother was indeed an architect of destruction,

Ava's Point Of View"CATCH HER!" I heard one man yell among an angry mob. They were wolves and they held torches and wooden stakes as they pursued a lady in a thick black cloak. She looked pretty young, probably in her early thirties. Why were they after her? Some of the men looked familiar. I remembered some of their faces, they were warriors of my previous pack, the silverclaw pack. I identified one of the men to be Yakmesh, Alpha Lucien personal lackey and lap dog, he did whatever his master asked of him. He was wicked and was in charge of all the executions in the pack. They were all still chasing after the woman in a black cloak, but she wasn't alone, she held tightly to a little baby girl, whom she carried in her arms with an urgency to protect. The pack warriors pursued them, the strong stench of hate and their thirst for blood could be perceived from them. Why were they after them so bad? What was Lucien up to?A loud and terrifying howl erupted in the sky. A huge black fur wo

Ava's Point Of ViewThe night came rather quickly, I was all dressed in the dress Kaden picked out specifically for me to wear, it was a beautiful dark blue dress and it's length was just below my knees. It clung well to my body, accentuating every curve and showing just the right amount of cleavage. I stared at myself in the full length mirror, noting my sudden transformation. I looked beautiful. I never knew it was possible for me to look this good up until now. I guessed I owed Krys a huge thank you. She also joined Josie in helping me get ready. I wasn't sure why she was acting so nice to me, but I was grateful to have her by my side. She was really a nice person, someone I would love to be friends with."How does it look?" Krys asked, both of us gazing at the unrealistic reflection of me in the mirror."Good, really good. Thanks Krys! You totally rock." I told her with a smile of gratitude."I know, I'm awesome. Now, get ready to go down. The pack are all waiting for their new L

  • Alpha Kaden: THE PRIMORDIAL HYBRID    Alpha Lucien POV

Lucien's Point Of ViewI let out a frustrated grunt as I threw the papers scattered on my desk to the ground. I have been at this for weeks now, trying to find where that little bitch could be but I haven't landed any luck, I was getting frustrated and tired. I needed to find her. I must have her, Ava belongs to no one else but me! The last time I felt this type of deathly obsession was with Nicolette, well I guess she is her mother's daughter after all.I felt a terrifying shot of rage and jealousy envelop me, just the thought that she could be in the arms of her mate, that disgusting rogue they call Kaden Delacourt, the beast and Alpha of the midnight rogue pack, made me boil over in rage. Ava belonged to me, and only me. I had watched her grow up for years, always wishing I could have her as mine. I wanted her more than I have wanted anything in my life and knowing she was gone with her mate, laying up with that filth made me berserk.I sent my fists into my desk, breaking it into

Kaden's Point Of View"Fuck! I almost lost all control in there!" I screamed at myself, as I stormed far away from my chambers. I needed to be anywhere far away from my seductive mate. I never knew she was such a master seductress, the way she pulled me in was so easily and effortless. She was a master at this. What the hell? I needed to get a better grip on myself. I didn't need to make more fucking mistakes like, messing around with Ava Sinclair. The little wolf was more than meets the eye, she was compelling and completely different. Those eyes! It was those damn bloody blue eyes. They were like a clear blue sea; calm and alluring but you need to watch out because it could suck you into its depths and there was no going back.I had no excuses for what happened back in my chambers, I couldn't even come up with one if I wanted to. There was no possible way I could explain the incessant urge I felt at that moment. The urge to hold her, to run my fingers through her sandy blond hair, t

Ava's Point Of ViewI woke up alone in Kaden's chambers, it's been two days and he hasn't even stopped by his chambers, he literally deserted it and never came back. He was staying at the west wing chamber, with Cassandra, he really had no regard for me whatsoever. Knowing fully well that he was all cooed up with his other woman made my heart hurt like it had a thousand cuts. The sound of birds chirping, telling me to get out of bed but I just couldn't. What was the use? I know it may sound pathetic and stupid but it really broke me knowing he was fucking her, it hurt me and broke my wolf the most. It was too much for my wolf to bear."Bloody hell, Ava!" I quickly looked over at where the sound was coming from, the voice sounded like Krys, and a dollar goes to me.She was in a black Nike tank top sport pants that made her unique features pop. What did she want now?She shook her head at me with a sigh, ripping the thick black curtains from the wall with just a flick of her fingers."W

Krystabelle’s Point Of ViewI was forced to step out of the pack's castle and keep watch over the pack with Kaden gone. My conversation with Ava a few hours ago left me completely worried, especially about her dreams, and that worried me more. I knew that had to be an ominous message from mother, she sent it to Ava dreams and she was expecting us to avert whatever chaos was impending.I was even more uneasy with the sudden reappearance of my brother, Kaiser. That bastard was as conniving and treacherous as they got. I didn't just believe his excuse that he came just because he was in the area and he missed home, there had to be something much more that drove him here. I know my older brother so well and I am willing to bet that he was running away, or maybe hiding from something. Whatever it truly was, I knew it couldn't be good.Kole had ordered the pack to be at alert, so everyone was on their toes, and they had the right to be, the Hunter moon was in just four days. Anything could

  • Alpha Kaden: THE PRIMORDIAL HYBRID    A sign from the Moon Goddess

Ava's Point Of View It was late at night, and my restlessness led me to the moon goddess's abandoned temple east of the pack. Kaden has been gone all day and this made me all the more uneasy. Was meeting with Nadia supposed to take this long? He should be back home, right? Did something untoward happen to him?‘Relax Ava, you are worrying for no reason again.’ I heard my wolf, Lisa, weigh in.Maybe she was right, and I was just overthinking the entire thing, but I couldn't shake off the bad feeling in the pit of my guts, telling me that chaos and death were inevitable.I guess that's why I found myself here at the moon goddess temple. I needed to find her Oracle, Mene. I met her a long time ago in this temple when I was locked here. I tried looking for her again, but she was gone; I needed to see her now. If there was anyone who could tell me how to escape the disaster ahead, it would be the moon goddess oracle.I walked around the temple for minutes with zero luck in finding Mene, b

  • Alpha Kaden: THE PRIMORDIAL HYBRID    The sixth Delacourt

Ava's Point Of View I walk into Kaden's office, to find a very intense stare off starring Kaden and a complete stranger. That was Kaiser, Kaden's half brother and if I reckon correctly the sixth Delacourt. Beside them, trying to stop them from ripping each other out with their eyes was Kole.“Hello brother.” Kaiser spoke with a cynical smile on his distinct features. He didn't look or share any resemblance with Kaden at all. He had light brown hair that framed perfectly around his head, and had a pair of electric blue eyes, with a well chiseled jawline. He looked a lot like a young Leonardo DiCaprio, before he grew old and fell off.He was tall, but not as tall as Kaden was, but talk enough to stand looking him in the eyes.“What the bloody hell are you doing in my pack, Kai?” Kaden gritted through his teeth, clearly not in the mood to waste any time.“Well that's no way to welcome back your little baby brother.” Kaiser chuckled, placing a finger on his lips. “When was the last time

  • Alpha Kaden: THE PRIMORDIAL HYBRID    The whispers of death

Ava's Point Of View I heard a shrill cry erupt in the thick darkness that covered me. I couldn't see anything around, just pure and complete darkness covering and swallowing everything around.Again, I hear another sharp cry erupt in the darkness from above me. I couldn't see anything, all I could do now was depend on my senses to figure out what was going on around me.I closed my eyes, paying attention to my surroundings. Taking in every breath, every sound, every wind and the direction in which they moved. The shrill cry erupted again, this time causing my ears to bleed out. That's it! I knew what the sound was, it belonged to a vulture. That was the sound it makes just before it is ready to feast on the dead carcass of a fallen predator. But why? Why was this sound all I could hear? What did all this mean?“Ava–” I heard a familiar female voice call out to me. My ocean eyes fastened open and they drowned at the sight before them.It was Kaden. He had a golden dagger buried deep

  • Alpha Kaden: THE PRIMORDIAL HYBRID    The Forgotten and the things we lost

Ava's Point Of View Kaden and I stepped into the abyss. Slowly the abyss that we knew morphed into a starry night. We were in the thick of woods. The glorious full moon was shaded by the clouds above, everything was quiet and still, not even the insects or the owls of the forest dared to rattle the stillness of the night.Suddenly we began to hear loud roars and feet stomping the ground in fury. First we made the face of the vampire woman, Nicolette, in her arms, she held a little baby. During my time in the nightmare realm, with everything going on, I didn't have enough time to look at the woman, but the more I looked at her I couldn't stop the sadness that gnawed at my heart aggressively. I crippled by a wave of sadness watching as she ran across the forest with the baby in her hand. Nicolette had beautiful short blond hair, and gleaming blue eyes that embodied the calm sea.I couldn't deny the striking resemblance she held to me. It was as if I was staring into an older and more e

  • Alpha Kaden: THE PRIMORDIAL HYBRID    The Red Door

Ava's Point Of ViewWe returned back to the pack at dusk, turns out Kaden had prepared more than two human criminals for me to feed on. With every blood I consumed I felt much stronger and powerful. I also grew strength in controlling my thirst for blood. There was a bonfire party tonight at the pack, to celebrate our victory against Ymir and her army. I asked Kaden what he did to Ymir's body, he told me he buried it in a lead coffin, somewhere deep in the ocean. She still had the blade of Agon in her heart so she couldn't wake up from her limbo of pain. While everyone at the pack was busy having fun at the bonfire, I was laying in my bed feeling restless. There were still a lot of questions I had, and so many answers I didn't have. What am I?It's crazy to think that I began to question my very own existence, but I couldn't explain my own existence. I couldn't be a born vampire because vampires couldn't procreate and I couldn't be a turned vampire because I wasn't human and it was im

  • Alpha Kaden: THE PRIMORDIAL HYBRID    Learning control

Ava's Point Of View I quickly changed into more comfortable clothes. I was greeted with a smile by several pack members, they knew what I was but they weren't scared of me.I followed behind Kaden to the doors of the pack but I couldn't step out into the sun. The sun rays were extremely scorching on my skin. This had to be an effect of me being a vampire.“Here. Wear this.” Kaden says, giving me a ring with a strange onyx stone on it. I quickly obeyed wearing it. Kaden then gave me his hand which I took, stepping out into the sunlight. It didn't burn, I could stand the sun because of this ring.“It's a daylight ring. Krys made it for you.” Kaden explained. We reached his black BMW and we drove out of the pack's territory. We drove for hours, I didn't know where we were going, I wasn't really concerned actually, what I was really concerned about was learning more about vampires.“So you have met vampires before in the past, correct?” I asked Kaden, as he watched the road while giving

It was crazy, I could hear and see a bird humming a thousand miles away through my window, and that made my head hurt even more. The acidic taste of blood was fresh and was burning on my tongue, which made it extremely uncomfortable. All I could smell was Blood. Blood. BLOOD!I craved it.I tried to remember whatever had happened last night to make me feel this way but I just couldn't. Kaden's Point Of View My amber orbs gleamed a dangerous shade of red, my vision glowed red as well. I made full use of my Lycan side, plucking out the heads of Ymir's beastly army and witches that attacked. My sharp elongated nails dripped with their disgusting thick crimson blood. Ymir was using dark necromancy magic to bring these things to life. She was toying with us, trying to disgruntle us. She was buying herself time, I had to find her and put an end to all these madness.I pulled out the heart of an idiotic dead witch coming at me, my eyes flickered to Kole and Krys who were doing a really good job at reducing Ymir's beasts and witches. My claws were dripping wet. I glanced around as my army fought against Ymir's dark forces. It was already dead in the night, and the foul odor of blood and stench of death mixed with the midnight air. We've been fighting for quite some time but so far, there's been no sign of Ymir. I tried mindlinking Ava but it was not connecting. I was getti
