Chapter Two: The Start

I woke up at 8 am. Today is not a work day because it's our hiking day. I need to pack the things i needed for the campaign. I remembered what Boss Jan said yesterday.
I can't believe that he's really coming with us. I know Jan Guevarra is not that adventurous man, we all know it. He's a bossy person when it comes to business, he has no time for trips. I wonder what made him come.
Gosh, Felicity! What the hell are you thinking?! He's your boss, idiot!
I walk to my closet and get some jacket and boots and put it in my luggage. I also put some candy bars and chips for snacks while we hike.
While i'm packing things, my phone rang.
"Hello?" I answered the phone call.
"This is Jan Guevarra, Ms. Sy. Come to my office now and we'll discuss some things. You only have 30 minutes, sharp. Bye." the caller said.
"What the f*ck?! Really now?! 30 minutes!" I said frustrately.
I immediatly did a half bath and make over and rush to my garage for the car. Damn it! That man is getting into my nerves! If he's just not my boss, i could've killed him!
I stopped at the company and rushed towards the building, i gave my ID at the guard and run towards the elevator. People are staring at me as if they saw the funniest thing on me!
When i entered the elevator, it is full! Goddamn it! I have no choice, i had to take the staircase!
I looked at my watch and i only have 5 minutes left! I run through the staircase as if i was Flash. When i reached Boss Jan's office, i immediatly opened the goddamn door and i saw him, sipping coffee full of relaxation.
"Oh it's you, Ms. Sy," he sipped. "Wait, what are you wearing?"
I looked at the mirror amd saw myself wearing pajamas?! That's why people are staring at me! I'm such an idiot!
"Boss Jan, i only have 30 minutes so i took half bath and i thought my pajamas we're my right suit and it ends like this!" I explained in an annoying way.
He chuckled. "Haha, how pathetic you are Ms. Sy," then he smirked. "Rushing things just to see me?"
Those words suddenly echoed in my mind.
"Rushing things just to see me?"

What the hell?!
"WHAT?!" i growled at him with shame on my face. "You! You said that i need to be in here in 30 minutes and i just did a half bath and i came here for no reason at a--" he stopped me.
"Actually, i need you to do a favor. So don't say it's a useless call." Boss Jan said.
"W-What is it, Boss?" I asked.
"Hmm, nevermind. You can go." He smirked.
"Ugh! I knew it's gonna be useless after all!" I shouted and rushed through the Boss Jan's office doorway.
Everyone is looking at me and i need to rush to go home because i know that this thing embarass me the most! I rushed to my car and start to drive home.
When i reached home, i was about to park my car when my phone rang again. I annoyingly picked up the call and immediatly shout.
"I know it was you, Jan Guevarra! So stop annoying me for the rest of my life!" I shouted.
"It's not Jan, silly. It's me...Mariel." The caller suddenly said.
"Oh, sorry. Um, why did you call me Mariel?" i asked.
"Nothing, haha. Just knowing if you're ready for our business campaign." She answered.
Huh? Wait, is this really Mariel? What's happening?
"Ah, yeah. How about you?" I asked her too.
"Yeah, i'm ready too. So, i gotta go. Be careful, bye!" Then she ended the call.
It's really weird that Mariel acts like that even though we're competitors and enemies at work. I never encounter that kind of Mariel.
I lost my thoughts and parked my car. I decided to sleep first because i'm tired of coming to that place for no reason...at all!
I lazily dropped my body at the bed and set an alarm until 6:30 pm so i can manage to clean before leaving.
Hours had passed and i sleep very well. I woke up at 6:30 pm. Yes, i can sleep that long because of stress and hard work. I packed my things carefully and clean the house before getting ready to bath.
I bath for about an hour and get ready for about 15 minutes.
"Well, good luck to our business trip. Bye, home. See you soon." I said and locked my house. I take my car to the place we discussed before riding the business van. I arrived in that place in just 10 minutes. So, i'm literally on time.
"Hey." someone called. It was Jonathan.
"Oh hey Jonathan, you arrived before me." I said, smiling.
He chuckled, "Well haha, i'm just excited about the trip so i came early. I can't believe they're not here yet."
I smiled, " Well, guess they're on their way here."
Five minutes had passed when Mariel came and the others, including Boss Jan. He walked to us and said, "Great, Felicity and Jonathan had a date."
My eyes widened. "What the hell are you saying, Jan Guevarra? Are you out of your mind?" I asked, sarcastically.
"Oohh." Achilles teased. Then Hannah, spanked Achilles' shoulder. "Quite you dumbass." Hannah said. There i saw Mariel, stopping herself from laughing.
Weird.
"It's Boss Jan, Ms. Sy," he smirked, "And for your information, you do not have the rights to call me by my full name."
I smirked. "If you say so, Jan."
Jonathan and Mariel laughed as Boss Jan's face was full of shame. I mentally smirked again. Idiot, think he can befooled me. He just smiled sarcastically before saying, "The van is on it's way, be prepared for this journey is the key to our success."

CHAPTER FOURAfter a few more hours of trailing, the team suddenly stop and looked for a place to past the night. We ended up finding a flat surface that's full of dried leaves around and a right number of trees."Okay, team," Boss Jan said. "We will stay here for a night. Grab your tents and start building it up."I grabbed my backpack and take the tent i used to bring when i'm hiking. I know how to build the tents easily so i finished first."Wow!" Hannah suddenly exclaimed. "That's fast, Felicity! How did you do that?!"I smiled. "It's a scout thing."They finished their tents and i made a campfire to light the place. I did bring marshmallows too, to make smore's you know? I grab some clean wood sticks and tuck the mallows."Hey, everyone! Grab your marshmallows and let's make smore's!" I happily offered to them. And why there is a modern house in a freaking mountain inside the woods?!" I asked him, continously. He stared at me with no reaction. "I'm Lohrton. You're here because you lost conciousness behind my house. Because i wan't a quite place." He answered.
