Chapter Six

CHAPTER SIX

"I'm Felicity by the way," I spoke. "Sorry for not introducing myself." 

He looked at me. He got that aqua blue eyes that's really relaxing if you stare at it. But a little bit awkward because, why would you stare at someone's eyes? "Nice to meet you, Felicity Sy." He said.

Wait--how did he know my surname? "How did you know my surname?" I asked him, curiously. 

"Hmm. It's a secret for now." He answered then head off to the comfort room. I just rebutted it. I walked outside and observe the place. The falling of the dried clover leaves, the semi-black color of the trees' wood and it's brown leaves. The dried leaves that are scattered all over the place and the humming bird in a tree. 

I wish i could take photos. But i can't, i do not have my camera, and i can not go back to my team for it. I whistled, like a singing bird in a tree. All of a sudden, the cozy wind hits my face. It reminds me of hope and bravery. I savour that moment, i close my eyes and i can see the hope. On that moment, i saw inside my head a pair of blue eyes and a semi curly hair. 

It feels like my world was in relaxation when i saw the picture. It's like my aesthetic paradise. 

"Hey, Lohrton." I called him after he came out of the comfort room. "Hmm?" He hummed. 

"On the night that you saw me lying on the ground, did you know that i was attacked by someone? Did you know who was it?" I asked him. Yes, i'm curious on how he helped me and found me. 

"Actually, i just passed by. I was looking for some fruits in the forest then i saw you lying on the ground." He answered.  I nodded.

Three days had been passed and i still didn't get any tracking device or something they can use to track me. Maybe, i'm living here forever. I could go outside but only in the morning until noon. Because Lohrton said that there are lots of predator and i could be their prey. 

I can now understand Lohrton's attitude. He's cold but caring. Although sometimes, i just don't know why he keeps on going out at night when he said that there are lots of creature that might hurt me or kill me. He's a little weird too; for me. 

I am now sitting at a chair, sipping some coffee with a black mug. I was looking at the glass window when my eyes suddenly caught a fast shadow passed by. I blinked my eyes, and saw nothing. Maybe i'm hallucinating. 

I finished my coffee and went out. I have these bad feelings inside me, and i don't know why. Ever since i got in here, i always feel that there's someone staring at me...at us. I keep on looking if there's someone outside. 

As i continue searching, i found a black amulet. It looks like a weird jewel with a gold coating. It's beautiful yet weird. When i was about to pick it up, someone grabbed my hand with a full force that i almost scream because of pain. 

"Ah!" I exclaimed. It f*cking hurts! When i saw the one who's holding me, it was Lohrton! "What the f*ck are you doing, idiot?!" I screamed at his face.

"Don't touch that amulet, you fool!" He answered back, shouting at me. I was shocked, seeing his cold eyes turn into blazing anger. And his eyes, it's lighting anger. 

"I-I'm sorry! Let go of my hand, it hurts!" I almost cried, begging him to let go of my hand. He slowly softened his forceful squeeze and place my hand gently. The tears that i'm trying to stop suddenly came out. Then, i found myself running. 

I'm running in the middle of the woods. No hesitating, no right feelings. I'm running all by myself. I feel like i'm only one and no one cares about me. I feel like i'm alone. 

I kept on running until i'm tired and place my hands in a big tree wood while squeezing and holding my chest preventing myself from crying too hard that can cause of my unconciousness. I kneeled down at the ground full of dried leaves, still crying. 

I don't know why i'm hurt. Seeing him in that way, calling by him a fool and those gaze. I don't know why i feel this pain. While i'm in the midst of pain, i heard a rustle from one of the tree. I looked cautiously, waiting for someone or something that may attack me. 

"Don't you ever run again like that." 

I almost jumped from my place. It's Lohrton's voice. I saw him at my back standing and just staring at me. "Sorry for calling you a fool, Felicity." He spoked. 

"I-It's okay,"  I said. "Besides, it's my fault. I didn't know what is wrong with that amulet. I'm really sorry."

"That amulet...belongs to the predator i've mention," He said. "That amulet symbolizes something. Anything you see in this woods has meaning. Be careful, for it will be the cause of your death if you didn't obey my rules." 

"Sorry. Can we just head back? I really don't know where are we." I said. He looked at me and said, "We're in the Horcale Woods. The darkest part of the forest. Quick, let's head back." 

We started our trail back to his house. So this forest has many parts and names? So it was called the Misty Mountain because of it's quality. It was probably it's different kind of clouds changed everyday and it's many parts. 

When we head back, the place was so dim. It has no lights, it's dark at all. Lohrton observed the place and started to open each light. 

"We're in danger, Felicity. Just stay at my back. This is a battle between us and them." He said.
