Violet stifled a groan as she tried to move but couldn't because immense pain shot through her body causing her eyes to snap open wide. She let out a shuddering breath and blinked slowly to clear her blurry vision. Her head was pounding and her back was stiff and burning. Violet noticed the unfamiliar room from the half view she was getting because of laying on her front. Slowly all the memories of last night rushed back. She was trying to escape but failed in her attempt. Ella and Emily! Her heart dropped and she quickly got up to look for them only to find Emily lying beside her on the bed and Ella on the couch in the corner. They both were sleeping soundly. She noticed their changed clothes and her brows furrowed when she noticed that she was in a comfy gown. Who changed her clothes? Violet touched her chest and stomach. A bandage was wrapped around her torso. The doctor must've treated her. She slowly dropped back on the bed. The side of her face squished on the pillo
Violet flinched at his dark tone. She tried to free her arm from his firm grip but he only tightened his hold. "Let go," She demanded strongly but he only jerked her closer causing her to gasp. Violet was struggling with all her might trying to free herself from his deadly grip but it seemed impossible. The more she struggled he tightened his hold on her. Her heart was thumping in her ears and she was scared. Violet refused to look up into his eyes because it would break her resolve and snatch her bravery away. Those silver eyes scare her.A wince escaped her lips because of the pain that shot through her back because of her wild struggles but she didn't care. She wanted to get away from him. She would not marry him. He has lost his mind. "I will not marry you," She gritted through clenched teeth and his eyes darkened. "I wasn't asking you. I was informing you, princess." He spat coldly. Anger coursed through her veins. She wouldn't let him force her into marrying him. Over her
Violet couldn't sleep the whole night. He had let her go after saying his mind and she ran away. Once she got back to her room she locked the door and slid down the door. Hugging her knees to her chest she sobbed silently. She was scared. Her mind was in chaos and her body shivered. Violet tried her best not to make any sound and it took her some while to calm down. She couldn't help but overthink and overanalyze everything. The vampire prince wanted to marry her so there'd be a treaty between the two kingdoms. But why does she have to suffer? Why does she have to sacrifice like always? Her head was pounding with pain so she laid down beside her sisters while being wide awake. She barely slept an hour or two before the girls woke up. Violet was tired and felt sick. After breakfast, Dana called the doctor for her and the doctor instructed her not to take stress and also she had a slight cold. Violet was lying on the bed, staring at her sisters who were drawing with crayons. The m
Violet was escorted outside by Dana. She was nervous. Stepping out of the palace she was greeted by Lennox who was leaning against his sleek black Mercedes Benz. Upon noticing them he looked up and his eyes trailed down her body before those hues moved to her face. He opened the door for her like a gentleman but she came to a halt in front of him. "I want to take my sisters with me," She demanded. "And why is that? We are going to choose a dress for you. They'll only get bored there," He said. "I can't leave them alone here. I don't trust you guys," His brow arched up. "I never asked you to trust us in the first place. Get in the car if you don't want me to force you inside," He said calmly. "I won't leave without them," She was stubborn. Lennox stepped closer into her personal space, he flicked his fingers and Dana quietly left from there. Violet stiffened. Every cell in her body was screaming at her to step back, to run away but she stood her ground, glaring at his chest. "
Violet stepped out of the other changing room. She has changed back into her clothes. Tossing the gown on the sofa she hurried to the door hoping to leave. Her eyes were misty and she was angry and hurt. How could he do that to her? He has no shame. He took her first kiss and that too without her consent. The more she thought about it the more tears brimmed her eyes. She wanted to hurt him. The slap was nothing compared to what he had done. She'll complain to his father about this. This was beyond her tolerance. Violet won't let him touch her as he pleases. He wants her to marry him. The guy who forcefully stole her first kiss. She'd be stupid to seal her life with such a man. She couldn't even imagine what he'd do to her if they got married. Violet stomped out of the boutique only to freeze when she found him leaning against his car right in front of her. She began walking on the sidewalk. "Violet!" He growled there was a warning in his voice but she didn't stop. She didn't even
Those sea-green eyes were full of pain and fear. For a second he just drowned in those beautiful eyes but his anger was deadly. She shouldn't have slapped him. No one has ever dared to touch him. His father never raised his hand on him but this stupid girl slapped his pride. "You think I'd let it slide? You shouldn't have slapped me, Violet," The deadly coldness of his tone had her trembling. "Y... You kiss..." She couldn't even form proper words. His eyes dropped to her plump lips which were puckered out because of his hold. "I can do so many things to you, Violet. The kiss is nothing compared to the things I could do to you, and you won't be able to stop me," He said ominously. Her eyes widened and her heart dropped into the pit of the dark abyss as fear so raw rattled her heart. "P...please," A sob tore through her lips as she grabbed his hand to free her face from that cruel hold. "Please, don't hurt me," She sobbed. Violet was so scared, she couldn't stop crying. "I'm not
Lennox watched in dead silence. She was staring at him with those wide eyes that were filled with fear. Of course, she'll be scared of him. He left no stone unturned to terrify her today. He might not admit it to anyone but he was dying to taste her blood. As soon as he tasted her warm sweet blood he was in heaven. It was more delicious than he anticipated. He wasn't planning to drink too much from her but it was as if he lost control over the beast inside him. When her body limped and she stopped struggling, that was when he realized she had lost consciousness. It wasn't because he drained her of all the blood, but rather she succumbed to darkness because of apprehension. He licked those puncture holes and she stopped bleeding. He stared at her unconscious body in his hold. She was vulnerable and he could do whatever he wanted with her. But he felt bad for drinking from her. He shouldn't have done that no matter how much he yearned to drink from her. And about the slap, it was o
Violet smiled at King Azure who had cracked a joke. She along with her sisters was having lunch with the king. So many days had passed and they'd gotten comfortable in the palace amidst the vampires. On the command of Lennox, the girls were shifted to a double room. There was a huge room with a king-sized bed in the middle and then within that room, there was a door to another room with two single beds and that room belonged to Ella and Emily. She had thanked King Azure for this but he said Lennox was behind that gesture. The girls were free to roam the palace. The guards even escorted them out to the marketplace. They were living freely and true to Lennox's words. He didn't show up in front of her ever again to the point she thought he didn't live in the palace anymore. Dana told her otherwise. She had said that she thought the prince had learned Violet's routine and avoided her carefully. Violet didn't say anything about that. She was glad. Most importantly she was surprised tha
