Render Her Amnesiac

The idea it might be broken somewhere with blood draining out of its body made her toss and turn in her bed. No matter how many times Alicia told her it was for the best, she couldn’t forget it at all. The owl was stuck in her mind.

Kelly hit Alicia’s hand away. She rose urgently, her hand hitting the bowl with yellow liquid on it. Alicia’s shoulder slumped, feeling bad for telling her friend to forget it. However, she didn’t stop her from leaving.

Kelly walked faster at first and then slowly, she hoped Alicia could follow her and assured her that they were mistaken, it was on its way here. When that didn’t happen, she snapped her neck at her and was surprised to find Alicia picking the bowl from the ground.
