Be By My Side

For days, Hilla nursed her with tenderness and passion. She handled her like a rose petal she didn’t want to tear. A total stranger who made her whole body tingle. A stranger who lost it one minute and the next she was kissing her as if her life depended on it.

Hilla only knew her name and nothing else. It was weird and it wasn’t a surprise that she hadn’t told anyone in her home. Her parents and her brothers were visiting after they had called and she wasn’t answering.

They had been so worried that they called the florist and got no answer. To make it worst, when they sent someone to call for her, she responded, “I am held up, mom. I will call when I am free.” One day had turned into two days making her parents worry and it was why they were here.

Although they could see she was acting strange, they didn’t force her to tell them what was happening, thus, they decided to stay and wait till their daughter was okay.
