The Vagabond Pack was destined to protect, be mate-less, and be unaffected by the heating season. When Alpha Ciandra's period arrived, she left immediately, leaving behind the pack under her beta's leadership. With her previous pack shunning her, she fled only to be captured by Alpha Alphonso's men and went through hell inside the Dark Shadow Pack.
