I sat down in the front seat, expecting to get scolded by Gabriel like before, but to my surprise, he didn't say a word, which was confusing to me, but strangely, it gave me relief that I did something without a mistake after asking him on my own to give me some work.

I thought he could be angry at me for not taking Mr. Gril's hand for a handshake, but he didn't say a word about that or anything that happened at the meeting.

I turned my head to look at him a few times, expecting him to say something about my work as I did everything he asked, even though there were quite a few mistakes in them.

After waiting for a long 20 minutes of our drive, he finally opened his mouth, saying, "When you rejected him while he was asking for a handshake...."

My heartbeat increased as he suddenly brought up that topic, still focusing on the road. A fear of doing something wrong filled my heart and I stared at his face till he finished, thinking that I was going to get scolded
