Drake

last update Last Updated: 2021-06-15 09:27:42

Drake was prepared for a fight; he knew that Ally would be furious.  He was well prepared to drag her from the home kicking and screaming.  She may have even tried to call the cops.  It wouldn’t matter.  He was untouchable and above any kind of human law.  He was not however prepared for her to be balled up in his arms looking to him for comfort.

He had found her in the kitchen giving into her desires of the flesh. It gave him peace knowing she had found a second of happiness.  It made him smile.  When she turned to him with her tear soaked face, he felt something he had never felt before. Turmoil was his thing, he tortured souls for a living.  But, when she looked up at him he saw the anguish in her eyes and wished he could take it away.

Even when she’s crying she is the most magnificent thing I have ever seen.

He sat, leaned against the wall and pulled her in to him.  She didn’t resist him.  Her hair smelt of Gardena and her skin was soft. He held her till her shaking stopped and her breath became steady, she had cried herself to sleep.

Drake watch as her chest rose and fell. He wished she had found this kind of peace with the destiny she was given.  It would make things so much easier and they could just skip the bullshit.  He considered sneaking into her dreams as she lay there in his arms.  But, she had been through enough today.

Ill give her this.

To an extent he was selfishly taking this moment to himself.  He knew he would be infatuated with this girl.  But, she was making him feel human feelings.  He was use to woman.  He had his fill of full beds and long nights, to briskly rush them out the next morning.  He was use to woman throwing themselves at him.  Most of them unsure why they couldn’t control themselves.  But Ally, she resisted and the more she rejected him the more he wanted her.  He wasn’t use to not getting what he wanted.  Ally stirred in his arms and she opened her eyes.  He watched as she surveyed the kitchen and her body got tense.

“I’m gonna pu--“ She lunged for the trash bin.

Drake went to rub her back and she swatted his hand away.  He stood, checking cabinets one by one until her found the glasses. He filled the cup with some tap water and went and placed it on the floor next to the heaving girl.  Drake had never been one that was lost for words but his thoughts and mouth were silent.  He pulled a chair out from the table and non-chelate pushed one of the human mannequins to the floor.

THUD.

It was a pre-teen boy sporting a Yankees graphic team.

“You’re out.” He said mockingly he smirked pleased with his own joke.

“How dare you.” She spoke.

He hadn’t even had the chance to turn to face her before the glass of water he had filled for her went flying past his head. It hit the wall and shattered into a dozen pieces.

“Strike one.” He said looking from the wall to Ally as he stood to walk towards her.

“How fucking dare you joke about this.  Is this funny to you? You sit there and joke about these kids whose lives YOU cut short.  For what reason other than to prove a point.  I get it you are capable of horrible things.”  She was furious. Her rage was visible to him in her eyes.  She held her ground as she continued to give him a piece of her mind.  He didn’t want a piece though he wanted the whole damn package.  Taking advantage of the fact she refused to back away from him.  He closed the gap and grabbed her by her belt loop and pulled her close to him.

“What the fu—“ she tried to pull from him. He used his other hand to quickly grab the back of her head.  Without hesitation he pressed his lips to hers. They were soft as he imagined they would be.  He could still taste a bit of stomach acid but, he was use to the unpleasant.  He couldn’t care less.

“Aaagh.” She pushed away from him and slugged him right across the cheek.  “Get off of me.  You disgusted me! I disgusted myself!

He felt warm liquid drip down from his cheek.  Reaching up he touched the source of the drip and knew from the smell, without even looking it was blood.  His blood.

“Strike two.” He said through a curled smile.  He hadn’t seen his own blood in a while.

The look on his face must have terrified her because she ran for the door.  He had never chased a damn thing in his life.  But he chased her.  She made it as far to even get the door open a crack before he had his hand on it slamming it shut.  Her shoulders slumped and she rested her head on the door.  His nose was close enough to smell the gardenia again.

“Where is Miss Clarke? AJ? Mandi?” She asked almost defeated.

“The high strung girl wasn’t here, unfortunately.” He laughed.

“And?” He was not expecting her to turn.  Putting her face close enough to his that he could feel her breath on his cheek.

And I am not sure if I was to rip your heart out or protect it.

"And... the other two are elsewhere."  He reached arround her for the door knob.  She adjusted her body so he couldnt open the door further.

"Elsewhere. And safe for the time being.  Their saftey is depending on you really."  She locked eyes with him and he could see the gears turning in her head. She side stepped as he opened the door.  Drake gestured toward the limo parked at the curb.  A tall slenderman type driver stood at the door avoiding any kind of eye contact.  He took two steps down the stairs and knowing she would follow asked, "Will you be joining me?"

He heard her muffled response, "You arent leaving me much of a choice."

She had been here before in this dark miserable place. Now she stood in the middle of Central Park staring at the naked trees almost as if she could make the blossoms bloom. She knew that it wasn't just the park, that beyond the dead trees and overgrown grass the whole city would look just as void of life as these trees. She had an unmistakable knowledge that it was all her doing. That she was responsible for the death of millions of people. There seemed to be nothing she could do about it; it was her destiny to destroy this place and its people. After all they were only humans she should not pity them. They ha
