Chapter 6

*Kirthi Pov*

"Do you really want to know?" I asked, turning around to stare at him.

"Sure!" he replied, shrugging sipping his coffee.

"Here! Smell this." I said, taking a leaf from one plant and rubbed it before putting it near his nose and he immediately pushed the hand away and coughed.

"What the hell is that?" he asked, giving my hand an evil glare.

"It is used as an antidote for snake poison. So, I think it really works." I replied, looking at him and calmly placed the cup on the table before moving towards me while I took steps backward.

"Really?" he asked and I nodded.

"This plant is for immunity." I explained, showing another one, and continued to do that until I am at the compound wall with nowhere to go.

"And this is for?" he asked, pressing his lips to mine to which I smiled but didn't reply.

"I need to go and cook lunch." I whispered over his lips.

"It's okay! I will help you." He assured pressing me more to the wall.

"In eating?" I asked making him step back and he laughed nodding.

"Will you make my favorites? I want to eat something sweet also." He asked, moving his hand to brush my lips.

Before I could answer we heard a cough and turned to see Anusha standing at the door with her arms folded and glare at both of us.

"I will start preparing, Anusha." I said, taking a step, but he held my hand before walking towards her together.

"Okay! Are you leaving?" she asked, looking at Ansh.

"Actually, I am staying for lunch." He replied smiling at her but her expression didn't change.

"Great! Why don't you shift all your clothes here too?" asking that she walked back inside making both of us frown.

Hence, the lunch was very serious with her lost in her thoughts and we both confused about her behavior.

"I have a small work and will come in the evening." Saying that Ansh stood up to leave looking at Anusha.

"Of course! We will prepare dinner for you. Maybe you both can have it here alone as a date." She said glaring at him and Ansh frowned, but with a look of discussing later took a step.

"You don't like both of us to be in a relationship?" I asked her making both of them look at me in shock.

"Of course I like it." Anusha replied, making me more confused.

"Then why are you angry?" I asked and she sighed closing her eyes.

"Didn't you see, Kirthi? He is always here having dinners or spending time. You both watch movies in this house and have a walk in your front yard. You both are doing what any two people dating do, but you are doing between closed doors." She explained and groaned when I still gave her a confused look.

"Great! He went on a date to some restaurant even though against his wishes, but he never took you out. Isn't it wrong that he doesn't want to take you anywhere out like a movie in the theatre or a walk in a park or a dinner in a restaurant?" she asked looking at her brother.

"Do you want to keep her a secret?" she asked him before he can reply.

"Of course not! How can you even ask me that?" he asked frowning at her.

"From the past many weeks, you never took her out not even once." She stated and he closed his eyes before looking at me.

"Did you complained near her?" he asked and she immediately groaned at him but I sat back to stare at him.

"Do you think so?" I asked to which he sighed before shaking his head in negative.

"Today we are going for dinner to a restaurant. Be ready!" saying that he walked off.

"He didn't ask me." I said, shaking my head.

"Let's get you ready!" saying that Anusha stood up.

"Just now we had lunch and you want me to get ready for dinner?" I asked making her smile.

"Come on!" saying that she dragged me to the bedroom.

After half an hour, she looked at me and stated, "We need to go to shopping."

"No! This is the end of the month and I don't spend the money." I stated back and she immediately opened her mouth but closed it.

"If I was daring, I would have asked you to use my card, but I need a few more days." She mumbled and paced before me.

"I can wear a Saree." I offered and she looked at me asking where are they.

Finally, she settled with one, and looking at that I chuckled before filling her with the reason.

"You were engaged before?" she asked and I nodded.

"And it got broken when you wore this?" she asked and placed it aside when I nodded back.

"Why are you keeping it back? I like that one." Saying that I took it and she gave an awkward smile before nodding.

In the evening finally, she got me ready and sat back to see whether she missed something. I thought everything was done, but then she started her lecture.

"Be a little flirty but also make him work, okay. You are the best thing for him and I want it to be forever. Try to hook him up completely." She just continued and stopped only when I left the room hearing the doorbell.

"No! Wait a few minutes before opening it." She ordered to which I smiled and stood before the door.

After a few minutes with him ringing the bell a few more times, I finally opened the door with Anusha right behind me.

He glanced at me for a second before holding my hand saying, "Let's go!" and just dragged me out of my house and to his car within a few seconds.

After some time, he suddenly stopped the car while I was looking out and he held my chin before turning it to make me look at him.

"You are looking great." He complimented but I just stared.

"You just dragged me off." I mumbled, not understanding his behavior.

"I will explain!" saying that he first kissed me and then started the car.

"I was escaping before Anu can take her revenge on me." He replied.

"Revenge for what?" I asked, looking at him, to which he smirked.

"Whenever any of her dates used to come to take her, I always gave them so much terror and she always got angry. I just saw her look when you opened the door and so I dragged you." He replied making me chuckle.

"No one gave my dates any such terror." I said, smiling and he gave me a side look with a smile.

"Not even your parents? Where are they now?" he asked making me look ahead and I whispered, "They died!"

"I am sorry! When?" he whispered the question making me smile.

"When I was two years of age!" I replied in a normal tone and after that only silence stayed with us.

"You didn't kill them you know. So, need not go into that much silence." I offered when we reached the restaurant.

"Maybe I did by making you say they are no longer alive." He said looking at me and I don't know why, but my hand moved to touch his face hearing his words.

"Shall we go?" I asked, moving my hand away, but he held it at the same place before pressing a kiss to the palm.

"Sure!" and we both walked into the restaurant and sat at our table which is at the corner.

We both started talking about our work and finally reached the dessert course and ordered it. I liked what I ordered, but after he ordered I wanted to eat that also but kept quiet.

"Ansh!" suddenly we heard a voice when we both were about to dive in her desserts.

"Leela?" he asked, turning and I saw a girl walking near to him and suddenly hugging him before practically sitting over the hands of the chair.

And she started talking while I started eating. By the time I finished the bowl, I understood she was his Ex-girlfriend and is now very adamant about him listening to her.

So, looking at the opportunity, I took his dessert and finished it. This time when I looked up, I saw that he is alone and is now glaring at me.

"You can order again." I offered, but without saying a word he asked for the bill and we left the place in silence.

"So, how was the date?" Anusha asked the moment we both walked into the house.

"And I am glad you brought her before ten." She added looking at him, but he is just looking t me.

"The food was great, Anusha. And mainly the dessert is superb." I replied to her question and she frowned at me.

"Why are you talking about food when I asked you about the date?" she asked and I shrugged not understanding what to reply.

"I will tell you! My Ex came there and started falling all over me and trying to make me go with her and so much more. Do you know what your friend was doing?" he asked, looking at Anusha and she shook her head.

"Your friend was enjoying both of our desserts. That's what she was doing." he explained making her gape at me.

"What? They were boyfriend and girlfriend and how can I interfere with them while I am just in a relationship with him." I asked them folding my arms.

"Just in a... God! Kill me right now before I kill this woman." He screamed moving away holding his head.

"Kirthi! You had every right to make that woman leave your table and if possible mad at my brother also." Anusha explained.

"Hey! Why mad at me?" he asked her, to which she shrugged.

"Today going out was completely unnecessary for me. I enjoyed more being here in this house and doing things than going out there." I suddenly said making both of them stare at me.

"Somewhere I feel like even he feels the same that today was a normal evening than every day." I added and he slowly nodded while Anusha still stared at me as if searching for my horns.

"Look, I enjoyed the food though, and want to take a rest if this discussion is over because I don't feel I did anything stupid here." I replied before walking towards my room knowing well he is following me.

"Kirthi!" he called when I started removing the earrings.

"What?" I asked, but he just turned me around before holding my face.

"I don't know the meaning of the relationship we have in your mind, but let me tell you now that you are my girlfriend and I am your boyfriend." He stated making me frown.

"But boyfriend and girlfriend will have thinking of even future to be together at least in their heads. And our relationship is just for a short time to be held." I said and this time he frowned.

"At this moment I see even our future involved with us together only which I never saw before with any other woman." He suddenly uttered making me stare at him.

"You said you don't want that future." I reminded him to which he sighed.

"At this moment, Kirthi. Can you accept that?" he asked and after staring at him for a few seconds I nodded.

"Great! Now, get ready for bed while I go and talk to Anusha." Saying that he left the room while I stared at the closed door for a few minutes before changing my clothes.

"What happened?" I asked him when he returned after half an hour.

He settled beside me and calmly replied, "She is going to stop from hiding from tomorrow."

"You are worried!" I stated and he slowly nodded with worry covering his features.

"She is strong!" stating that I held him in my arms by myself and not waiting for him before drifting off into sleep along with him.
