TW: Mention of suicide
God must have taken pity on a poor soul like me.
Last night, in the dark and gloomy room where I always stayed alone, I ended my own life. The me who was weak and can't express myself, the me who had no courage to do what I wanted, and the me who can easily be manipulated by the people who wanted to use me... yes, that's me, and I long to end this misery.
"On the eve of Sunday, the spouse of Niel Noah, the grandson of Noah Enterprise, perished. It was presumed that the omega has taken his own life-"
Bang!
A shattered remote control was scattered on the tiled floor. Along with it were the broken pieces of a vase, the overturned table, and a few drops of blood, "Who carelessly leaked the news?! Who is the stupid one to leak the news!"
The alpha's veins were protruding on his forehead, his eyes almost jumping out from its socket but the wound in his hand was treated as non-existent amid the chaos caused by the death of the omega.
“Calm down! This is not the time to blame anyone. We should stop the news first-“ It was the uncle, the youngest uncle that he had been considering as his closest in the clown family of Noah.
“Not blame anyone?! Uncle, that man died and everyone was feasting on it! Tell me how to calm down?!”
This was the last event that I saw before a white light blinded me, pulling me like a strong magnet into a dark path… does heaven look this dark? Or was God throwing me to hell for being a depressed animal who only knew how to take his own life to end his suffering?
Did my death cause everyone a burden? Even in my death… I am useless.
Beep beep beep…
The sound of the alarm rang throughout the dark silent room. Davi slowly opened his eyes, his head throbbing with pain. A familiar ceiling, a familiar scent, and familiar surroundings welcome him in the bright sunny morning, "I'm alive?" he mumbled.
Unfortunately, no ray of sun dares to intrude on the tightly closed curtains.
Holding his head, he closed his misty eyes again, jolted from his bed, and paced around like he just found out a piece of confidential news, "why am I alive?" his voice was so low as if he was afraid that anyone could hear him in that empty room.
He tried to remember the night he cut himself in the wrist after taking a whole bottle of expired medicine.
He made sure not to survive, so how... "News, right the television!" he hurried to open the television and search for a news channel but none reported the big news, it could be that Noah cleaned up all the news related to his attempts.
He opened the internet to search just in case but he found none. What confused him was - the date.
He clearly remembers the date of that night; it was his birthday. And it was a birthday gift he gave to himself - freedom.
But now, the television, the internet, and even his phone were showing that it was a week after he married Niel. Was this a nightmare or was he experiencing a rebirth?!
Doesn't rebirth start from infancy?
Checking the wrist he once cut, Davi’s sweat started to form as there were no traces of a wound in that place.
Still confused about what was happening, Davi closed his eyes again after covering himself fully with a blanket. Maybe it was just flashes of his life before he totally leaves the world or maybe it was a punishment of regret for taking his life so lightly.
Davi closed himself in the room for another week. Confusion kills his thought process, none of what was happening seems real to him. To ensure that he was truly reborn, he stayed in his room for a week with food only delivered to the door.
This week was also used to ponder the things he had regretted in his past life.
He had suffered so much that the only thing he wanted was to escape life permanently. As he was pondering, a clear realization dawned on him - he was truly reborn!
Now, he wanted to make himself ready to face the husband who never had looked him eye to eye after the wedding. He remembers that, after the ceremony, Niel never had asked him to join him at the table, never asked him to move into the same room, and never in their one year of marriage did Niel show even a little bit of care far from the Niel who indulged him before the wedding happened.
He even brought his mistress into the house, flaunting him like he was a rare gem.
But it was understandable for he never married Davi with love as the foundation.
Closing himself in the room and only getting out when Niel left to work, this has been a routine he had long been accustomed to.
Taking the old wallet he had, he searched and searched for a calling card. His fingers nimbly flip through the stack of small papers, mumbling along as he reads the name, “Found it!”
Davi was the youngest son of his family, they were poor but Davi, as an omega, was delicately handsome. His masculinity was not an obstacle for any alpha to pursue him. But poor as they were, and with a gambler of a father, soon… he was sold to pay for a debt.
Maybe, he was still lucky because the man that his father had sold him to did not take advantage of him to become a human toilet. Or maybe, because he had a gloomy aura, the man sold him again to another unknown buyer.
This buyer was Liam Noah. The cousin of his husband, both vying to be Noah’s patriarch. However, everyone knew that Liam will be the one to achieve the position and not Niel. The reason why Davi got trapped in this war was due to his saving the old patriarch.
Finding the calling card, he dialed the number. He was anxious while waiting for the other line to pick up. Biting his nails and shaking his legs, he mumbled, “Pick up… pick up… pick up.”
The first thing on his list to enjoy this second life was to divorce the husband who never loved him. The alpha who felt disgusted to even spare a glance at him! The alpha whom everyone wanted to seize.
After consulting with his old colleague, he found out that it was too expensive to get a divorce! "You mean, I have to spend ten million just for a divorce?!" It was a mistake not to take the allowance that the old patriarch had given him before.
May it be because of courtesy or reason he can’t comprehend at all; he should have accepted it rather than having a card he could not use to pay for a divorce fee! This card, who knows who it will connect to?
His family had no intention of giving him money but instead expected him to provide a steady flow of cash for their drowning family.
His father learned about him marrying into a rich family and indulged himself in more gambling making his son pay for everything.
He was treated as a cash cow of the whole family. So, it was a waste to ask them for money for divorce as well. They only have debts to give him!
"However, you can avoid spending a huge amount if your husband makes a call for a divorce. You can even get alimony." Whoever initiates a divorce, and whoever needs it the most will naturally be willing to spend money. So, he just has to convince his unfamiliar husband to divorce him.
After a week of locking himself in the room, Davi went out early in the morning to join everyone for breakfast. In the mansion, there lived the cousin, his husband, him, and occasionally… the mistress.
That day was the day he decided to permanently kill the old Davi Abram.
When he came down, all the servant’s eyes were fixed on him, constantly rubbing their eyes to make sure they were not seeing an illusion. The madam came down... no, their madam was sitting at the table, facing the two scions while sipping his coffee like he was used to doing it!
Niel never glanced at him. Asshole!
"Deciding to come out of your cage." Liam was sitting at the end of the long table while Davi was one chair away from him. The stable, cold, and domineering voice of the alpha reverberated in the silent dining area giving the listener a slight chill.
Liam’s movement was steady, calm, and precise. It was the first time after the wedding that he heard this voice again. Anyone who hears Liam’s voice will immediately fall in love with the alpha.
But… not him.
Falling blindly in love with Niel and giving all his innocent heart to him was enough and never to be repeated. Noah's clan was a curse he needed to stay away from.
Not answering, he took a piece of sausage and bit it in half, "Arghh, too sweet."
"Don't like sweet things?" Liam's eyes were following the movement of his hands without any expressions on his face.
It was a known thing inside the mansion that after the wedding, the couple did not have much interaction and this goes with Liam as well. This conversation surpasses all the conversations they have had for the one year they have been living together before his rebirth.
The couple even sleep in different rooms, eat separately, and can only bump into each other on a few lucky days. So, normally, each other’s likes and dislikes were not known to them.
Not minding Liam, Davi talks straight to the husband who never spoke since he sat at the table, "Don't you feel tired of our setup? I'm willing to give you a divorce so you can marry your slut." His mouth speaks without break, and his face shows a sincere smile.
If one counts it, they were only married for two weeks and now he was talking about divorce. But it was not new, others divorced after an hour of getting married.
Listening in the corner, Liam knew he was the one who wanted to get a divorce desperately. When he bought Davi from the loan shark before he never thought that the omega would fall in love with his good-for-nothing cousin.
Niel’s eyes glared at Davi for a second before responding, "No."
"What do you mean no? It's a great deal. I'll tell the people that I was in the wrong, I won't blame you. I promise!"
Honestly, Davi had a hidden agenda. He was testing the waters. If Niel agrees to divorce then he will treat the revenge plan as non-existent but if not…
“First, Mitchel is not a slut, you are. Second,” Niel sat up and leaned his body closer to the omega with his raised brows then added, “If I get the patriarch position, I’ll naturally discard a disgusting thing like you.”
Glancing at Liam, Niel left the two alone at the table.
"..."
Liam wiped his mouth and sat up to walk out of the house, when he reached Davi’s side he spoke in a serious tone, "Wrong move.”
Sighing, Davi slumped on the chair, pouting his lips as he jabbed on the half-bitten sausage on the plate, "Okay! Let the games begin! Patriarch? Pweh!"
Happily, he ate more food than usual and even ended up requesting a crab porridge.
The author has something to say:
Liam: The enemy of my enemy is my husband!
After he finished breakfast, he went to his room again. Unlike before, when he would stare outside waiting for the sun to hide, this time he went over the pile of clothes. Taking everything from the closet to the bed, he checks all the clothes one by one.Due to a lack of money, Davi had no way to dress better so even if his looks can compare to a celebrity his sense of fashion and obviously old clothes made some of his pursuers think twice. He searched for a fashion blog and fashion tutorials. Based on what he heard from the fashion guru, he tossed the gloomy-looking color and kept the happy colors. He took out the card that was given to him before, this card had an unlimited amount and can be used for his needs. But he could never use it to pay his father’s debt and obviously not for the divorce fee!He remembered what the butler said when giving the card to him, “People married to the Noah's should not look shabby.” Then this card was pushed to him. It was the night of their weddi
The dinner was peaceful. No sound of the mouth chewing the food or spoon touching the plate. Well, for Liam it was the case but Davi decided to be the naughty child in the family and deliberately sipped the soup with a slurping sound. His mouth chewing the food was smacking and anyone who can hear it will lose patience. However, this was what Davi wanted to achieve. He wanted Liam's help but he also wanted for Liam to stay as someone who hates him. When Liam heard about him marrying Niel, the alpha gave him disdainful eyes. He was so sure that Liam was looking down on him. “Are you sleeping after dinner?” he asked while his mouth was full and his hand was reaching for the fish steak. The sleeve of his shirt was almost touching the other food making Liam’s brows crease a little.“Uncle Bert,” Liam called out and the butler came out of the kitchen hurriedly but gracefully.“Yes, young master?”“Tomorrow,” he glanced at Davi's, who was sitting on the end of the table then continued, “p
Seeing from below, Liam could say that the view was amazing. The omega was flushed red from his face down to his neck and if the clothes were to be taken off… surely, Davi’s body would be dyed red. Their position was ambiguous, it wouldn’t be a problem if they were in love. However, there was no love between them. No feelings except that of a buyer and a product. If he were to use the excuse of Niel being unfaithful so Davi can be unfaithful too then he could instantly eat the omega. After all, they were legally a married couple but never consummated their marriage. “Hot…” Davi was scratching himself while riding on top of Liam. His body writhing from the lust that brews inside him. “… mmm… hot,” his short slender fingers pop the buttons of his pajamas two and three at a time but before he could finish all the buttons a hand grabs him firmly. “Stop, Davi.” Liam was at the end of his wits. The inhibitor seems to work really slowly this time. Usually, after he injected it, it m
Davi thought that when having an interview, it would be the owner of the store that will do it. What will happen to him then?He was not looking for a backer. He knew he should do it through his skills but a backer will be much more useful! Who wouldn’t want it? besides, wouldn’t it be a hundred times better if he knew the person he was talking to even if it’s a little or if you live under the same roof?A new world opened in front of him. When Davi was applying for a part-time job to finance his studies it was always the owner of the store that will interview him. For example, the owner of the convenience store. For example, the owner of the fish stall. For example, the owner of a second-hand clothing store. Why was it different with Liam?! I guess the rich do it differently.“So- so is the HR s-strict?” What was the scariest thing that an introvert like Davi was afraid of? Yes. It was to meet new people. A stranger! He could muster up the courage to talk to Liam because he doesn’t
Walking out of the elevator, Davi did not head over to where the car was parked. It was not all the time that he could stroll around the city so freely. It was already a year since he saw the bustling area of this side of the country. When he was working before, he could only watch as the teens his age walks in a group while laughing and talking about nonsensical topics. He never had a chance to experience that. He never even had a friend to call his own.The high-rise buildings were standing left and right but it does not stop the sun to shine so brightly on him. It must have been saying ‘congratulations!’ on the new life and job he got. A high school graduate but working for a top company was already something he could just dream of before. Today, he was hired as a janitor with a two million clean salary. He was happy beyond compare. Passing through a cake shop, he stopped on his foot and stared at the beautifully designed cake from small to largest. It was impeccable for him th
The next morning, Davi woke up earlier than usual. It was the excitement kicking in. Last night, after Liam left outside the door he watched more videos that could help him in modeling food. Then, he watched a video that will help him become a good janitor! In the video, the guy tied his hair in a man-bun and his mask, then his gloves and face the camera to say, “Let’s do this!” The guy then started to check his cleaning materials, refilled the bottles with fewer cleaning liquids, and left to start his day in a five floors building. While cleaning, the guy explained how to get rid of this kind and that kind of stains. He learned a lot and he felt that he was more ready to start his new career. When the video finished it was already midnight. “Good morning!” he said while sitting at the dining table. “I’ll eat more today so I could have more energy to clean!” He was enthusiastic that Liam had to raise his eyes to watch him.He had not seen anybody from a rich family happy to work a
The sudden stop in his sentence and creasing of his brows made Alexis thought that there might be another problem that arises. It has been a long day before the day even begins. Another problem means another late-night work. “Is something wrong, President?” Liam closed his phone, and continued on his walk as if nothing happened, as if he heard nothing but when they reached the door, he stopped and uttered, “Do new employees need to have welcome parties?” Alexis made a blank look before answering, “President, it has been a culture.” The door creaked and the huge office came into view. On the side was a sofa and a little coffee table. On the other side were cabinets full of trophies and certificates of awards given to the company but mostly to Liam as an outstanding entrepreneur, a rookie businessman, and many others. “Then, why am I not invited to any of it?” The chair he was sitting on was leather, a sturdy one which he likes the most. The number of documents he needed to sign pi
When the time to clock out came, the three members of their small team rejoice turning the small resting area into a chaotic jungle. Brian was planning everything for the welcoming party later while Kelly was rejecting all his ideas. Davi would like to join the conversation but he does not know where to insert. First, he was embarrassed to say something wrong and second, he does not want to interrupt the excited Brian. Even though he felt these, he also felt happiness in his heart. This was his first outing with a workmate and he wanted to try his best not to become the cause of an awkward atmosphere. In reality, even if he wanted to speak, his heart won't allow him to. At this very moment, Davi's heart was pounding so fast from anger and other feelings he can't explain. His face was red from all the suppression of his emotion. An hour before he clocked out. Davi went to the storage room to return his and Mama Chu's cleaning materials. Each one of them had a push cart where everyt
In the bustling City, the Salvians family was known far and wide for their successful business empire. At the helm of their company, Salvians Enterprises, were the parents, Davi and Cade Salvians, who were renowned for their innovative ideas and fearless leadership. As the years passed, their children, James and Olivia, had grown into capable young adults, each with their own unique strengths and talents. James, the eldest, was a charismatic and driven alpha, with a natural flair for business and a sharp mind for strategy. Olivia, the youngest, was a compassionate and resourceful omega, with a keen eye for detail and a gift for connecting with others. Despite their busy schedules, Davi and Cade made sure to instill in their children the importance of family and unity. And so, when the time came for them to take over the reins of the family business, James and Olivia rose to the challenge with determination and grace. With Davi and Cade often jet-setting around the globe on business
In the dimly lit room, bathed in the soft glow of candlelight, two men stood facing each other, their eyes locked in a silent exchange of desire. Alexis and Reynolds had been dancing around their attraction for months, and tonight, they had decided to explore their desires even more deeply. Deeper than that on the island.Reynolds, with his tall, lean frame, approached Alexis, his gaze smoldering with intensity. Alexis, feeling a surge of anticipation, held his breath as Reynolds reached out and gently traced the outline of his jaw with his fingertips."Are you sure about this?" Reynolds whispered, his voice a low rumble that sent shivers down Alexis's spine.Alexis nodded, his heart pounding in his chest. "Yes, I trust you."With a tender smile, Reynolds took a length of red ribbon from the nearby table and lifted Alexis's hands, binding them together with care and precision. The sensation of the silky ribbon against his skin sent waves of arousal coursing through Alexis's body, and
The temperature tonight was high, and the passers on the street slowly transitioned from thick clothes to warm ones. Thin jackets and sweaters, holding hot drinks in their hands as they walk to their destination. Reynolds shop was located at the center surrounded by tall buildings which lit beautifully at night. There were only two remaining customers eating and he would be done for the night. All cakes baked for today were completely bought except for one hidden in the corner. It was coated with thick cream, white, and very sweet. The box was exquisitely made making sure the cake won’t be ruined. Below the cake was a big shopping bag full of red stuff, some were poking and some silently lay on the bottom of the bag. As the night grows, the lights outside brighten and the sound of the people talking heightened. Cling. The sound of the wind chime echoed as the door opened and closed signaling that the two customers leaving the shop. Now, it was time to rest for the night. The st
The morning light shone through the seep of the window, the white thick curtains couldn’t contain the brightness the sun was freely offering. Aside from the musky smell of love that lingers in the air, the scent of the sea creeps through the room, giving freshness and warmth. On the floor were the scattered clothes tossed without care, some buttons flown in different directions, blanket draping on the edge seeming to hang on to its dear life. It was chaotic yet the two people closely lying together seemed to be out of place in the midst of this all. A sense of sweetness and gentleness hovers around the two naked bodies, the face of peace and comfort evident in their tight embrace.Alexis’s hair was ruffled, bed heads sticking out while his face was buried in Reynolds’s chest. He likes it there, he likes the smell of the alpha embracing him like a treasure. His eyes were closed but his mind was wide awake, afraid to move in case he would disturb the tired alpha in front of him. Last
The arrival of the three bundles of joy, affectionately named Zado, Zufri, and Zefrid, turned their lives into a whirlwind of giggles, spilled milk, and sleepless nights. Davi reveled in the joy of fatherhood, his heart swelling with love as he held each tiny hand in his. Liam, a beacon of patience and warmth, embraced the challenges of raising three little ones with unwavering grace. However, his big baby is still his priority. Days were a symphony of laughter and discovery as the triplets embarked on their adventures through the living room turned playground, the kitchen turned battleground and bath time turned water play. From crayon masterpieces on the walls to impromptu tea parties with stuffed animals. At times, the triplets will play as knights protecting their precious princess against mini lions and crocodiles! Just like that, the Noah household became a canvas painted with the vibrant hues of childhood exuberance. A safe space for the little ones to move freely. Bedtime
In the dimly lit room, the air was thick with tension, laced with the unmistakable scent of agony. Beads of sweat glistened on his furrowed brow as he clutched the edges of the bed, knuckles turning white. The omega’s labored breaths filled the room, mingling with the muttered curses that escaped his lips between each wave of pain. The walls seemed to close in, amplifying the echoes of his distress. The omega’s eyes, clouded with pain and frustration, shot daggers at the alpha pacing anxiously nearby. At that moment, the bond that connected them felt more like a chain, each pang of pain only strengthening the resentment that simmered beneath the surface. As the omega’s grip tightened on the bed, a particularly sharp contraction seized him, and a string of curses erupted from his lips. He cast an accusatory glare at the alpha, blaming him for the torment that wracked his body. In the dance between life and birth, the omega cursed the very alpha who had played a part in bringing this
The moon outside rose at its peak and the wavy reflection of it in the sea gives light to the dancing fishes under the water. With the swaying of the waves comes the sound of the water washed ashore. The two people sitting on the sand a while ago now entered the closed room minding the needs of their bodies and the call of their hearts. Two couples, two sets of bodies touching, caressing, and giving in to the wild needs of their hungry desire. Two couples, each with their ways to relieve their needs. Separated by one thick wall, each moan was suppressed in their own closed doors. “Inside… release d-deep inside me…” Davi was sitting above Liam on that tiny couch, guided by Liam’s hands his body went up and down, trembling with exhaustion but still wanting to eat more of his alpha’s substance. “Mmm, so big… inside… haaa… mark… mark me.” His mind had so much thought, he wanted Liam to cum inside and he also wanted Liam to mark him. A while ago he also wanted Liam to thrust harder
As a newlywed couple, sleeping on the couch on your wedding night was a no-no. “Okay,” Liam said, lifting Davi in a bridal carry and walking towards the direction of their room. Davi was struggling though not much as he was also anticipating the things that would unfold tonight. The guest that was left cheered as the couple left not wanting to be a cockblockers. They cheered until Liam’s back was nowhere in sight. “Sleeping on the couch seems a good idea,” he said as he walked. The door was a few meters away and used a key card so it was easy for him to open. “It’s soft but tiny, I can make it work.” His eyes are full of evil lust hidden under the lashes. Tonight, the couch will bear witness to the love he had for his now husband, his omega, his beloved. Davi kept his mouth shut lest he say triggering words that would make him beg and sob all night. He knew what Liam’s mighty weapon could do and he knew what his waist could endure! Ah, stamina. Davi can only wish he survived the n
Everything went smoothly. The transfer of position was no sweat and the preparation for the wedding proceeded as planned. After some time passed, the wedding day came. There were only close friends during the wedding. Even the board of directors was not invited. In total, the guest can be counted in one’s hand. They opted for a solemn and intimate wedding, despite the preparations and decoration, it was not considered grandiose compared to some. Despite not having his own family at his wedding, Davi was not sad at all. The people that he is close with are here, his alpha is here and that’s enough for him. The reception was served with unlimited beverages and food. There were dancing and singing, the atmosphere was lively and the splash of the waves from the sea liven the mood even more. Tingtingting… The dance was interrupted and the people focused their eyes on the stage. Alexis was standing in front with a glass and spoon in hand, “Let me take this opportunity to say some
