Jessica watched as the car rushed into the street and got lost in the numerous cars. She felt her blood boil and she gritted her teeth. How dare he drop her off here? She called a taxi and it took her to the restaurant for the first part of work she could not concentrate as her mind kept going back to Xavier. Although she was pissed at him she could not help but worry about him and why his mold suddenly changed. Her phone chimed on the table. She has been trying her best to curate the perfect menu for her restaurant. It was Xavier and he was asking for his lunch. Her eyes flew up to the clock. It was an hour left to lunchtime. She stood up and then sat back down when she realized. Why was he demanding lunch after the way he treated her this morning and yet his text had no atom of repentance in them? She found the nearest restaurant to his office that did delivery. She ordered his meal and asked it be delivered to him and told him to pick up his lunch from the front desk because sh
"I am sorry, I mean I should not have passed out my frustration on you when it was obvious that you only wanted to help me out. I was just overwhelmed" he said and she froze. Nope, she was not expecting him to apologize so easily the way he just did. "What was the matter?" she asked. "Am I forgiven?" "If you tell me what happened I can decide" "If you come over I will tell you everything and even more" he added the last part in a whisper. "I am actually busy now, we will see later at home," she said trying to play hard to get. She was not going to bend to everything he wanted because she liked him. "Then I will come to you," he said. "No Xavier," she said dropping the earlier formal tone she had taken up with him. "I am really busy and I am sure you are too so let us work hard now and see you later at home" she added. "But what do I do?" "About what?" "I miss you so much that I want to see your face immediately" "Hold on," she said taking the phone away from her ears. She
Olivia finally plucked her courage and climbed up the stairs. She looked around hoping no other person was up there. She rubbed her palms together as they were sweaty. How did she think of doing such a thing? If only Jessica had given her what she wanted in the first place. What she was doing was a criminal offence but she rather spend a night in the police cell than spend a day with those moneymongers. She shook in fear and opened the first door she encountered. The room was covered in darkness. Her hand roamed try wall beside the door to see if she would find the wall switch. She did and then noticed the room was empty. She switched off the light and shut the door behind her. She wanted to turn back and leave but the thought of what those men could do to her or Jessica pushed her to get what she needed. She just needed to either find his room or a study to ensure that she got something she needed. A checkbook or a document containing his signature which she could forge would be w
Olivia stopped in her tracks and turned to face Roselle who stood with hands on her waist. What was she going to say led her into the room in the first place? What was she searching for in the drawers and then in the closet? She knew she was going to get caught today. It was her first time doing something of such and she was caught? And then some would say bad luck was nonexistent. "What are you doing in here?" Roselle said again. "Erm, I came in here to get something from Jessica that was originally one but I did not find it," she said as she tried to walk past the woman who had used her whole frame to block the doorway. "Please next time just ask the young lady to give it to you," Roselle said. "What do you mean by that?" Olivia said pretending to be angry. She was glad that her lie was bought but she needed to play the part to the end. "Jessica is my niece. So are you insisting that I can not get something that is mine from my niece?" she asked as she prayed within herself th
Jessica left the restaurant extra early because she could barely concentrate on what she was doing and she knew that Xavier would be there to pick her up even though she protested against it so vehemently. She went straight to the grocery store. She was going to make a special dinner tonight to substitute for the missed lunch with Xavier today. She went ahead to get extra fancy seafood as she was going to be making a seafood platter and pasta. When she had gotten the seafood she unfortunately ran into Emma at the checkpoint. Unlike the other times she had met Emma where she had this high-defense today, she was looking low and even smiled at her. "Hey Jessica," she said as she walked closer to her. "Hey Emma" Jessica replied. She did not want to talk to her but she did not want to be rude either. "Did Xavier tell him that I ran into him? It was when I went to the hospital for a check-up. The doctor said my little one was not stable so I had to get rid of it" she said trying to gai
As Jessica enters the house she is greeted by Olivia who seems to be in high spirits. Jessica rarely saw her aunt unless she needed something and she expected this was one of those times. "I am in no mood for your nonsense this night so please save it," Jessica said before Olivia could get a word out. "My nonsense?" Olivia scoffed. "That is no way to talk to your aunt. I guess you now think you are better than me because you happened to marry into a rich family so you think I am beneath you. You have never been this rude but since you came here it seems like you look down on me a lot" Jessica glanced at her and shook her head. It was obvious to her that the whole epistle she had given was because she had denied her access to money. "You can call me rude or disrespectful all you want but I want to let you know that I will never allow you access to the Delgado's money. The reason is that it is not mine and if it is not mine there is no way I can give you a part of it unless I steal
Jessica made the meal and then served it on the table. She went upstairs to take a short break and then freshen up. She was tired from the activity of the day and the excessively long talk she had with Olivia. She entered the closet and began to undress. Usually, she would have done this in the bathroom but since she thought she was all alone she decided to do it there. Suddenly a huge game engulfed her body. She froze in her legs as she was afraid. She knew that no one apart from Xavier was allowed into his room. She knew it was Xavier but she did not know how to react. She was standing there only in her underwear and he was behind her his huge hands over her body. She wanted to run away from him. How could he see her this way? What if he made a mistake because of the way he met her? Why did she let her guard down and decide to undress in the closet instead of in the bathroom as usual? "I miss you so much" he whispered as he dropped kisses on her hair, neck, and shoulder blades.
"May I?" he asked as he traced her lips with his hands. She knew what she wanted and why she tried to avoid eye contact with him. She wanted to jump him. She has wanted to do so for quite a while. How was she to refuse now when she had no place to run to? She slowly nodded her head and he went in with a kiss. He was gentle as he first pressed his lips against hers. Soon he parted her lips open with his tongue as it began exploring and dancing around in her mouth. She dropped her hands to the side and pulled him closer to herself. She wanted to feel his skin touching hers as soon as possible. His hand roamed her bare body as it came to her pant line. He traced the body right above the line. Jessica let out a small moan. His hand trails we're hot and forceful over her skin. She pulled her head away from his and stared at him. Although they were no longer kissing his hands still traced her skin. "We need to have dinner" she whispered resting her forehead on his chest. "Do we need to
