Anna's POV
It was another Tuesday. For some reason, I was in very bad spirits. I felt strange, too strange for my own liking. It certainly had nothing to do with the fact that Tuesday was a constant reminder of my beloved nanny's death. Sure, I was naturally sad on that day but this particular thing was something else. I just decided to shrug it off. I felt that it might have been nothing after all. Maybe I was simply overthinking things.
"Hey, Anna," Vanessa said when I joined her in our homeroom.
"What's up?" I replied half heartedly.
"You're up," came the unexpected reply.
"What do you mean?" I asked. The confusion I felt was evident in the look I gave her.
"To be honest, I don't know how this concerns you," she began, "but Kimberly is in some kind of trouble and everyone is blaming it on you."
I hissed. What was with R
Kimberly's POV"Er, Annabelle, no offense this isn't much of a plan." I was scared beyond measure and the plan she came up with wasn't even a plan on its own. I mean, how does going to look for the writer of that article sound like a plan?"We aren't supposed to make an elaborate arrangement. That would only confirm whatever shit they have said and have left to say," she said. "Just trust me."She didn't know that she was asking a lot by that. I had betrayed people and treated them like dirt. I didn't even have the energy to trust myself. She held my hand from across the table. "You'll be fine. Now, let's get out of here."We went downstairs. Let me rephrase that. She basically dragged me downstairs. I was just too scared to go with her. What would people think of me? Would they believe what Annabelle had to say? Of course, some of them would continue to bully me but would they ever forg
Anna's POVWhy do some adults act like absolute idiots? Why do they find it fun to abuse their power and authority as adults? I could not fathom the answers to these questions of mine no matter how I tried. And here, I thought my parents were bad enough.I sat in the car, looking out the window and enjoying the scenery. I might have hated the United States but I had to hand it to them, they sure did no how to preserve nature. The people's lawns were always trimmed to perfection and the parks looked really nice."We aren't going straight home, Annabelle," Dex said, interrupting my thoughts. I pitied the poor guy. There I was claiming to be his friend when I hardly ever spoke to him. I had been a little withdrawn but he and Kathy took the brunt of it all. I really needed to make things up to them."Okay. Where are we going then?" I asked."Your mom said I should bring you to her office."

Basha Siromani's POVJasmine, an young redheaded Asian lady who happened to be Riley's personal assistant stood before us. She had a distinct look of disappointment on her face which definitely worried me. If she read a wrong meaning into the situation, she was likely to tell my wife and that would end us in a big ditch."Good afternoon, sir," Jasmine said in a cold manner and not in her usual cheerful yet professional manner."Well, what is it you want here? Can't you see we are busy?" the African-American woman said."I can't see what's making you busy," I quickly said, giving her the coldest expression I had, an expression I had not used in a very long time."Jasmine," I said, facing the young lady, "where is my wife?" I made sure to lay emphasis on the word 'wife'."She is currently in the conference room, sir," was the reply. "I actually

Anna carried her boxes into the gigantic building her parents said was going to be their new home. She didn't like the situation one bit but there was nothing she could do. She sat in the living room waiting for her parents. Though she was told that she could take a room of her choice, she still preferred having her parents, most especially her mother pick a room for her. Her parents finally ended their conversation with the agent and came into the living room to see her sitting on one of the couches. ″Anna, what are you doing here?″ her father, Basha Siromani asked her. ″I was waiting for you and Mom to come show me to my new room,″ she replied. ″You didn't have to do that,″ her mother, Riley Siromani said as she took her hand. They led her up the stairs to the first floor. Although Anna had been used to the life of the rich, she couldn't help but marvel at the decoration and size of the first floor. That floor had its own living room, kitchen and also housed ten rooms. T
Annabelle opened her eyes but couldn't find the energy to get out of bed. After laying in her bed for a while, she finally sat up and got out. She stretched for a few minutes then went to her wardrobe to get her training suit. After putting it on, she went to a corner of her room to begin her morning workout. She stretched again and began. After about an hour of doing squats, pushups and eventually her jump rope, she was finally done. She first rolled the jump rope and put it on the cabinet. Then she took her soap, shampoo and towel to the bathroom. After taking off her clothes and putting them in the wash basket, she walked into the bathroom and had a quick shower. When she was done with her shower, Anna walked into her room with her towel wrapped around her. She did her skincare routine and chose an outfit for the day. It was Saturday and she didn't plan to go outside so she chose something simple: a pink blouse on a short black skirt then wore her puffy black slippers. She c

Anna's POVI threw my parents a deadly glare, one that would make them regret deciding to torture me. "We are so sorry you had to spend your afternoon with those two," my mom said while giving me a hug after we made sure Carly and her brother were gone.I glared at them some more. Carly had insisted on staying in my room until I had to drag her out. By dragging her out, I mean taking her by the arm and literally pulling her away. She sat down on my bed and held on to the frame. I just pulled her some more until she landed on the floor and dragged her out of my room. I then locked it to make sure she didn't go back.Unfortunately for her, I had to pull her down the stairs back to where her brother patiently sat like a normal human being. The part where I actually pitied her a little was when we realized Dex was there. He came to make sure I had gotten home in one piece. From wha
Anna's POVWe stood there. Kimberly stood beside me and the four others stood opposite us. It looked like we were having a sparing match. To be honest, I had no idea why I sat to talk with Kimberly. I just felt something tell me to stay to talk. It was fun though. I resolved that I would do my best to get her out of that bitchy attitude. The Kimberly I talked with wasn't the one who tried to bully me. That was when I confirmed that the attitude she showed at school was far from the real her. Besides, there was nothing wrong with hanging out with her.I sent an icy glare at Mason. What did he think he was doing? What was with all these people who wanted to defend me when I had everything ability to defend myself. Had he forgotten so soon that he and I got off on an awfully wrong foot? He did try to embarrass me in front of a lot of people. If I could forgive him, why wasn't I al
