CHAPTER FIFTY THREE: Meeting Sean

The sight of Sean’s dead body made my heartache and it wasn’t only because I was hurt, when I’d survived the accident, I got an injury in my heart, I was already on my way to recovery and then seeing the only person that seemed to understand or care about me lay down there, on the ground lifeless, made it hurt even more. What about Cherry? How will she live with the news? I cried all through our ride home, it was a silent ride and I knew what would be waiting for me as I got home wouldn’t be a lovely sight.

We got home and I got dragged inside and already blindfolded by my Uncle’s guys before I could register what was going on, I felt someone tie me up and the blindfold was removed. I struggled to get out of the chair but each efforts proved futile and I had no other choice than to sit still and listen to whatever he has to say. I was not only mad because of Sean’s death but I also hated my uncle even more than I had initially hated him.
