Chapter Sixty Nine

HELENA'S POV.

I was sitting patiently waiting for Alex to return from work before going on my little dinner meeting with Sam.

I was exhausted and fatigued but that didn't matter at this point. I had a whole shark to devour and I needed to execute that mission as soon as possible.

It was a few minutes past six and Alexander had not returned. It was not so normal for him to come home so late at night. He was the kind of man that goes home immediately after he's done with work. I had no idea what he would want to eat when he got back. I called Maggie up to my room to go fix something to eat while I got ready for my appointment.

I sat behind my dresser and stared blankly into the mirror. The red dress looks perfect on me. It was a red strapped dress and I always wore a coat over it. I searched my closet and pulled out my long coat. It had black and white petal patches on each side of the coat. It was my favorite coat. I slipped my hands into it and wore my shoes.
