I was shocked to hear about Bryan's proposal to the young lecturer. I knew Bryan's determination can't be altered even by his parents so I didn't plan to approach his mother again since it would not work.

I started thinking of a way to stop their engagement or whatever they were planning to do. “What can stop a wedding from happening?” I asked my maid unconsciously.
