Bryan's POV.

At the hospital,

We got to the hospital emergency room, and she was already receiving treatment. She lost a lot of blood and I was so scared seeing how the treatment took a lot of time.

“Who is she to you, Mr Lopez?” The doctor asked.

“She's my fiance,” I said with a trembling voice, I knew no good came out of that question. The doctor became silent. “What's wrong, say something doctor!” I panicked.

“She inhales a lot of smoke, and she bled too much, the fetus is at risk, and it is dangerous for her health so we might consider an abortion to make her safe,” he said.

My jaw dropped hearing that I knew how much Giselle wanted a baby, but knowing I was the cause of all the circumstances I felt horrible.

“Is there no other way?” I asked. “There is, but the patient's life will be at risk; she might not make it,” the doctor said.

I shook my head unconsciously. “I don't want to lose her,”

“Wh____ Dr. Niel!” I wanted to talk, but I was interrupted by a nurse coming
