Chapter 44

We arrived at a small round table for two people. Daniel pulls out the high chair for me to sit in first, and then he sits on the opposite side.

Less than five minutes later, a waiter approaches to take our order. I'm kind of hungry since I didn't have dinner, but I only order one drink, a cosmopolitan one to be precise. On the contrary, Daniel opts for a Blue Label.

We have a few more drinks, and I stop when I start to feel a little dizzy. Maybe it's because I hadn't eaten before, that's why the alcohol hit me so quickly.

However, a strong desire to dance catches up with me. The music becomes more attractive and pleasant, especially after we enter the attic.

"Let's dance!"I scream over the music as I move to the beat while in my seat.

Daniel shakes his head.

"I don't know how to dance," he says out loud, not screaming so much, but I can hear him.

"Oh no, you brought me here, so now you have to fulfill that role," I reply.

"Well, I didn't think you wanted to dance," he confess
