A different kind of love

     Tiara sat down in a an empty table at a corner of the hall. She wanted to spend time here and avoid telling her younger brothers that her date didn't show up,she didn't want to get sorry looks and pitiful treatments from her family. she mumbles to herself "who sits alone on Valentine's day?"          "Us,I guess" . Thomas Thompson sits with  Tiara, a nineteen years old college student who could pass excellently for a basketball player, dark ebony skinned accompanied by a small pink lips. Tiara doesn't like talking to strangers especially in parties like this because most of them could turn out to be perverts but she hated the loneliness she was feeling now. The band consists of boys,they sat down opposite to their audience, the main vocalist is Thomas,Thomas Thompson blew Tiara back to last year,the day she saw him in some random Valentine party. It's exactly a year since that day,here she was about to listen to him sing. She stares at him for long but just when their eyes were about to meet,Tiara shyly looks away, she couldn't lock her eyes with someone she has been wishing to see for a year. Kyle whispers into Tiara ear,telling her that she's sure she has seen that lead vocalist before. The restaurant smelt nice,classic musicians playing at a designated stage for them,too luxurious to Tiara but she kept quiet about being uncomfortable. She couldn't hide her surprise when Tiara told her they were sitting at different tables, she thought it was more like a double date and not putting her in an awkward situation with an unknown guy. Tiara smiles at Kyle's boyfriend, that was all they could; smile and say hi since they met twice or thrice.            Tiara's date dressed expensive, it was probably easy for one tell that he is from a wealthy home. He could brag about everything(money and beauty) but not height,Tiara stood taller than him,he asked her to sit rather gently. "I know a good cafe with a piano,let's go there. Okay with that?" He asked. She nodded her head in agreement, he promised to play her some of Brahm's music.     The cafe is small,Tiara loves it. Ciara walks to them,she politely welcomes them to her cafe.  "Hi,I heard you have a piano?" He asks.   "Yes,my boyfriend owns it,he's inside" she leads them them to a room at the corner end of the cafe. Tiara whispers to Richard asking him why he picked a piano date outside when he has one at home. He responds to her question with a smile. The owner of the piano,seems too busy playing it,he didn't even notice when they enter the room. Ciara hugs him from behind,to Tiara she seems too clingy to her boyfriend. Thomas turns backward immediately Ciara whispers something to his ear. "Hi,I'm Tho...."   They walked around the park for a while,holding hands like lost lovers. While they walked she smiles,looking at him like she was searching for something in his face.                "Why the look? Is there something on my face?" He asks her               "Yes"          "What's it? Where??" He asks         "It's all over your face, destiny". She avoided speaking about destiny ever since she met him again,she still isn't sure why she avoids the topics, but what's the harm talking about it today. People walked around the park, mostly young couples holding hands and smiling. It was like everyone decided to visit the park on Valentine's day. He asked her if she still believed in that,she gave a quick nod and pointed her finger at him,she told him he made her believe in it. He told her he stopped believing in that,he said it was by chance.
