Chapter three(part one)

CHAPTER THREE

   February 14th,2013

             Thomas thought about Tiara,why she would want destiny to work on them. He was one of the biggest believer of fate and destiny, how two people keeps meeting by chance turned into  fate. His father taught him that way,he said he saw his mom by chance or rather destiny, for years he knew his father, he always celebrated Valentine's day with his mom,he never once failed to get her a Valentine's gift. Whenever he asked his father why he lives that,free spirited and happy, he told him:

           "Boy,life is about fate and destiny, what's yours will be yours and what ain't yours is never gonna be yours. You should always live life and accept what it gives to you" he always told him,he believed but not anymore,Thomas hated life giving him sad situations,he hated it the day it happened. The first day he met Tiara,February 14th 2012.

       That day when Kyle dragged Tiara away,his mom called him with this panic in her voice,but being the eldest of his siblings, he took his sister hurriedly out of the party in a well composed manner,he gave her date a well composed speech why he needed to take his sister with him. His mom told him about the accident but he didn't tell his sister about it. He got to see his father in a terrible state,almost all his bones damaged, he laid on the hospital bed smiling as if he was still living the best day of his life. He got wrongly hit by a van full of robbers excaping a bank. He was just close to the restaurant, he planned to have dinner with his mom.

         Even in his death bed,he told Thomas "boy,life can be like this sometimes, it just happens to be my fate and like I said we live according to our destiny,it hurts to leave your mom." The fact that he closed his eyes and never opened them broke Thomas and destiny. Last year,when he saw Tiara at his little concert,he was going to speak and tell her why he doesn't believe in destiny. Maybe age was a factor too of fear,his fear of facing his destiny in a tragic way,his fear of dying just like his dad who lived a carefree and good life according to him,his father died and now he blames destiny for his father's death.

          To Tiara, she believes she will see him,just like before but this time Thomas locked himself inside,he already prepared not to go outside for Valentine this day,how was fate going to work when he doesn't leave the house. Because he met her the day the incident happened, she wasn't a good memory to him. Last year,he wanted to tell her to never see him again, because she just brings some heart breaks to him but he knows that she has no fault in it ,yet he still chose to blame her. But she left in an hurry,an emergency she didn't tell him about.

           "What destiny and fate? we'd probably never see again or perhaps not like this,maybe when she's with her family and I am with mine, probably when we become grannies" he said staring at the door while she left the Hall. When she gets to know,if she ever knows,I hope she gets to understand that people have some certain days they wish to forget but its so heartbreaking, the get to live with the memory forever.

      "Hey babe,wanna go out tonight?" Kyle said over the phone. Tiara gave a quick response and quickly got dressed,thinking this was the perfect way to meet Thomas,destiny will do his work like it usually does. When Kyle visited,  she told Tiara about it,she was going out with her new boyfriend.

            "Girl,you sure are changing guys like shoes" Tiara tells kyle

             "I don't want to keep changing guys,I mean it's exhausting to but i....but I still haven't seen the perfect guy".

            " So why do you want me to go out on a date with you and your boyfriend! I mean it's doesn't make any sense,are you trying to make me the third party or the third wheel? 

           "Not really,his boy friend is coming too. You get me" she says as she searches for the perfect clothes in Tiara wardrobe.

         "I'm trying to ship you and him,you see if his boy friend likes my girl friend, you know,stuff like that.

              " why didn't you tell me before?" Tiara asks Kyle. Kyle told her she didn't tell her because she didn't want to hear her rejection when she already promised her boyfriend that she was going to bring her friend. Her brothers enters the room without knocking, Tiara screams at them and threw a pillow at them.

          "You better start giving me my privacy" Tiara tell her brothers. She expected them to leave but they didn't,they stayed saying "yays" and "nays" to the clothes Kyle showed them. Her younger brother asked her if she was going to meet her "destiny guy",it made everybody inside the room laugh at her,they kept saying "who talks about destiny these days, we ain't in the sixties", " why didn't you take his number if you had a thing a for thing? ", " what about destiny? ".

            Tiara has some regrets too,after saying that to him that day,she regretted it too. She listened to Kyle as she spoke about her boyfriend's friend, she has no interest in him even though she hasn't met him. Tiara being sincere to herself, she followed Kyle hoping to see Thomas. Well,kyle has played an important part in this path, whenever she follows Kyle,she see him.
