a threat

The sharp cry of Frederick form his ward got the nurses and doctors hurrying to him.

Camille and Cynthia hasten their stride into the ward. They stood shocked to see him calm and sleeping as he breath in and out slowly.

Cassie's head rested on the bed beside him. Her palm covered his hands. She raised her head to look at the doctors and nurses and behind them was Camille.

Tears streamed down her face. "I don't know what happened he just began to scream."

"I'm scared." Cassie muttered as the doctors rushed to check his vitals and change his water bag. Camille and Cassie were the only ones left in the room.

Camille's gaze fell on her shoe and she sensed something strange. A feeling she could not expain.

Cassie wiped her tears and stood up." What are you doing here?" she asked.

Camille's mind was on where she had seen that shoe before not realising Cassie was asking her a question. She glanced at Cassie suspiciously, she was the one who passed by her earlier with a hood.

"Are you so fr
