Cassie's next plan

Sofia quivered hiding behind a wall, her eyes closed.

“Where is Fredrick?” Cassie said walking down the hallway of her office with her assistant.

“He had an emergency again, I sent the nurses to attend to him. He’s presently at home.”

Cassie nodded, her face looked pale as she dragged her feet on the floor. She paused staring at the floor like she forgot something. She turned to her assistant giving her a questioning look. “Call me Sofia and ask her to meet me at the office unfailingly tomorrow morning. I have an appointment by 10. She should meet me by 9.” She said and continued to walk.

Sofia heard what she said, she leaned closer to the wall, Cassie’s footsteps approaching louder.

Her phone vibrated in her pocket, she gasped trembling as she tried hard to turn it off.
