Chapter 25: A Good Guy

It was Kathy who had just arrived at Gabriel’s apartment. She smiled when she saw Rosalind. “Nice to meet you, Miss Miller. I’m Kathy. You look amazing!” Kathy kissed Rosalind’s cheeks.

Rosalind liked Kathy instantly. She kissed Kathy’s cheek too. “Please call me Rosalind.”

“Oh, I can’t! Mr. Da Costa won’t allow me.” Her eyes spotted the necklace around Rosalind’s neck then she smiled. “The necklace is so beautiful. It looks good on you.”

“Thank you! I heard you chose it from the Jewelry Palace. Thank you so much for choosing such a lovely jewelry set for me.”

“True,” Kathy said, “but it’s Mr. Da Costa’s instruction. So you have him to thank for.”

Rosalind blushed as she remembered their lovemaking after he put on the necklace around her neck. “So let’s go now?”

“Yes, Miss Miller. The driver is waiting outside.”

Luca Russo, the driver that Kathy mentioned, immediately opened the door for Rosalind. He bowed his head and smiled at Rosalind and Kathy.

“Nice to meet you, madam. I’m Luc
