Chapter 28: Cooking Time

Rosalind let out a sigh because she wanted to talk more with him. But she understood Gabriel was busy. It was good he still gave his time to talk with her, despite how busy he was.

As if she could read Rosalind’s mind, Kathy smiled at Rosalind. “Mr. Da Costa is quite busy today, miss. He must meet with some new representatives from other countries.”

“I know he must be busy ….” Rosalind looked elsewhere and let out a sigh, but then she forced a smile. “Let’s go to the Shoes Castle.”

Rosalind and Kathy spent two hours checking and seeing many pairs of shoes and also handbags. Finally, Rosalind could find the shoes and handbag she liked and matched the silver dress.

Afterward, Rosalind smiled at Kathy in the car. “Thank you for accompanying me to buy these.” Her hand pointed at some shopping bags. “Do you want to have lunch first? We can go somewhere.”

Kathy shook her head. “It’s my pleasure, Miss Rosalind. I’m glad to accompany you. Unfortunately, it’s time for me to go back to the off
