Chapter Fifty Four: In front of their Child

UPON waking up, Adam immediately headed to the bathroom.

As usual, he still had a lot of piled-up work in the office that he needed to finish. He furrowed his brow when he didn't see the towel behind the bathroom door where he usually placed it.

His eyebrows furrowed even more when he saw the towel on the sink, all wet. He was about to call the maid to scold her when he remembered what happened yesterday and last night.

Adam rubbed his temples and left the bathroom to scold Ruby. He was sure she was the one who put the towel on the sink. Adam stopped his steps when his sight settled on Ruby. She was sleeping soundly on his bed. He stared at Ruby's beautiful face. He wanted to run his fingers on her straight nose.
