Honeymoon 5

After Axel drove away from the saloon, Lily thought it would be the end of their outing but Axel didn't head back to the hotel.

“Axel.” Lily called when she noticed he wasn't heading back to the hotel.

“Yeah?”

“Where are we going?” She asked.

“A restaurant. It's past noon and we didn't have breakfast.” He replied and Lily mouthed an ‘oh’

She realised she was hungry after all.

“Okay.” She muttered in response and looked out the window. She decided not to think about what conversation Axel was having with those ladies, he already assured her that he was not asking for their numbers.

She believed him and trusted him.

The drive to the restaurant was silent, no one said a word to each other. Axel pulled over in the parking lot and they both walked out together, Lily moved closer to him and held his hand.

Axel looked at her and she smiled at him.

“What?” She asked and he shook his head in response.

“Nothing.” He replied.

“Okay, let’s go.” She said and they both headed into the restaura
