“You just let her go like that?” Max asked Axel as they both sat in the living room.

“Yeah.” Axel replied and picked up his phone.

“Really?”

“What was I supposed to do?” Axel asked as he went through his phone.

“Why does she want to leave by the way? Are you guys on good terms?” Max asked Axel and he looked up at him.

“She found out about the main reason why we went to Hawaii and she got mad.” Axel replied and Max frowned. He might not be so close to Lily, but he knew Lily cant be so mad because of that, to the point of leaving the house. Axel must have done something else or said something wrong to her.

“Is that the only reason why she got mad?” Max asked.

“We need to talk about how to feel our goods in the new warehouse.” Axel replied. He changed the topic and Max decided not to push the conversation further.
