A Caring Husband

“Hi, Lily.” He replied.

“What are you... “ She trailed off as he ended the call. She watched him as he moved closer to the tree next to her window and started to climb it. At first, she was worried he was going to fall but he climbed it like a pro.

She was still a little bit worried though.

“Be careful.” She said as he got closer to the window. She moved away from the window when he got very close, he jumped into the room and he breathed out heavily.

He was still trying to catch his breath when Lily rushed to him and hugged him tightly.

“Hey.” He muttered and breathed out as he wrapped his arms around her. Lily inhaled his fragrance as she hugged him, she couldn't hide how happy she was to see him. She has missed him so much.

“I really need to catch my breath.” Axel said and she chuckled and pulled away from him. He let out a heavy exhale and Lily watched him with a wide smile on her face. He ran his hand through his hair and sighed.
