67| Son's refusal

Miranda went into her office with Larry and her son, Oliver, as she walked up to her computer desk to pack up her black handbag.

"Mom, I saw a lady recording me with her phone," Oliver said, feeling uncomfortable as he remembered seeing a woman recording him earlier.

"When was that?" Miranda asked as she switched off her computer.

"Not too long ago, before we entered here," Oliver said, clearly disliking the idea of someone recording him.

Miranda frowned and replied, "Maybe she was just using her phone. I wonder why she would record you?"

"Okay, Mom," Oliver decided to drop the topic and went to pack up his school bag and lunch box.

Standing in the office with Miranda and her son, Larry smiled at the mother-son duo and said, "So Miranda, when will you be accompanying me to meet my family? We've discussed this before, but you haven't agreed yet."
