Miranda couldn't lie to Larry, she told him, "I love you, and I don't have anything to do with my baby daddy again. He's not in love with me, neither did he wish to see me again. Back then, he paid me off never to show up in his life again, and I was left with no other option than to leave the city. So you shouldn't worry about him."

Breathing out in relief, Larry said, "That's fine. I'm glad that he ended things with you. Coincidentally, if we see him again, we will pay him off and maybe ask him to sign a co-parenting agreement with you."

"Okay, but I do not wish to see him again. He was an aloof and arrogant man, and I don't want him to influence my son's life."

"Do not worry, you have me with you, okay. And I promise to be a good father for Oliver," Larry said.

Just then, Miranda's room door unlocked, and Oliver entered the room. He had changed his clothes shortly after having his bath by himself, and he was wearing a white Pyjamas.
