Jack's POV

Tamara stood at the head of the table, her back straight and her voice clear as she carried on the meeting. The warriors and other leaders listened intently to her, their eyes fixed on her as she confidently discussed the latest patrol reports. I leaned back in my seat, watching her closely, admiring how she’d grown into this role over the last few weeks. There was a time when she wouldn’t have been able to control a room like this, but now… now, she freaking owned it!

Suddenly, the door swung open, and Kate barged in, looking flustered. “Sorry I’m late!” she said, glancing around at everyone. “I didn’t know there was a meeting scheduled.”

Oh, I felt a sharp pang of realization—Tamara intentionally hadn’t told us about the meeting. She must have intentionally left me and Kate out!

What the fuck?!

My jaw clenched as I wondered why. Was she trying to get back at me for not informing her about the last meeting? This felt personal.

Before I could say anything, Tamar

I left the meeting, my mind swirling with confusion. Jack had been acting strange ever since we started. He was being...clingy. I wasn’t sure what to make of it. He hadn’t even defended Kate when I shut her down. He used to stand by her without a second thought, but now? He was silent, just watching me like he couldn’t take his eyes off me.This was not like him.Was Jack actually changing in this timeline? Could it be that the events of this life were altering him too? My mind raced with the possibilities, but then I shook my head, clearing the thought. No, I reminded myself, he’s still the same. Even though his behavior had softened toward me, he still suggested attacking Alpha Dante. That alone meant he was still trying to start a war, and I couldn’t let that happen.I sighed, feeling the weight of it all pressing down on me. If there was one thing I knew, it was that Jack could never be trusted. He was clever, manipulative, and always thinking ten steps ahead. I had to make sure h

Tamara's POV “Promise me you won’t attack Alpha Dante.” My voice was firm, leaving no room for negotiation. I crossed my arms over my chest, waiting for his response. His face tightened, and I could see the immediate resistance in his eyes. He wanted to protest. “Tamara, you don’t understand. Dante is dangerous. If we don’t act now—”I took a step back, pretending to pull away from him completely. His eyes widened, panic flashing across his face as he realized what was happening. He couldn’t lose control over me, not now.“Okay, okay,” he said quickly, his hands coming up in surrender. “I won’t attack Dante. I promise.”I studied him for a moment, surprised by how easily he’d given in. Jack never gave in this easily. He always fought for what he wanted. Was he really changing, or was this just another trick? Either way, I couldn’t help but feel a small sense of satisfaction.“Good,” I said, stepping closer to him again.Relief washed over his face, and before I could react, he pulled

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    Saving Violet

Tamara's POV The last two weeks had been nothing short of confusing for me. Jack had been acting so... different. He’d been spending less time with Kate and more time with me. It wasn’t just the time we spent together; it was the way he behaved. I couldn’t help but notice the subtle shift in him. It was like he was avoiding Kate on purpose, deliberately pulling away from her. In our past life, this would have been unthinkable. Jack had never hesitated to be with Kate, flaunting their relationship in front of everyone, including me. Back then, he never cared about how much it hurt me. So why was he acting like this now? I sighed, walking through the dense woods toward Violet’s house. If Jack was truly changing, did that mean there was no need for revenge? I’d spent so much time planning and preparing for the day I’d take him down, but now… now I wasn’t sure what I wanted. I needed advice, and I hadn’t seen Violet since the festival. Violet’s house was at the far end of the pack

Not ever again. i fucked up and let this happen when I promised to protect you, but over my dead body will I let it continue." Violet looked up at me, her face pale and gaunt and it was clear that Richard had been starving her. “This isn’t your fault Tamara,” she whispered, trying to console me even though she was the one that had been beaten, bruised and tortured. “Richard… he’s always been like this. He always gets overly jealous when he sees me with other men, even though everyone knows that he has been cheating on me with multiple women. Anytime I confront him, or does something he doesn't like, he accuses me of being disrespectful and locks me up in chains for days." Violet cried and tears filled my eyes to see her like this. "Why don't you just leave him? leave him. and come stay with me." I begged her but she shook her head. "Richard won’t let me

Jack's first person POV I rushed toward Tamara, my heart pounding in my chest. The moment I laid eyes on her, I felt like I could breathe again. She stood there, frozen, staring at me with wide, shocked eyes. Her lips parted slightly, but no words came out.“Tamara,” I said, reaching out to her. “Are you okay? Did he hurt you?”She didn’t respond immediately. She just blinked at me, clearly rattled by what had just happened. The near-death experience, the gunshots, the danger—it was all written across her face.I remember that a few hours earlier, I had looked for her everywhere but I couldn't find her.And to my shock, that had sent a wave of panic crashing through me in a way that I hadn’t felt in years. This didn't really surprise me, because Lately, her absence made me anxious, like she would disappear one day, and someone would take her away from me. The idea of not being able to find her terrified me.I had searched the house, the pack grounds, even near the forest, but I neve

Jack's POV I let go of Richard, rushing over to her. “Tamara, are you okay? Are you hurt?” My voice was softer now, the concern leaking through despite my best efforts to stay calm. She shook her head, but she still looked confused, her eyes flicking between me and Richard. “Why didn’t you call me?” I asked, more sharply than I intended. “You were in danger. Why didn’t you call?” “I-I…” She stammered, clearly still in shock, unable to form a coherent response. “Shh, it’s okay,” I said, pulling her close, brushing a strand of hair away from her face. “You’re fine now. I’ve got you.” I guided her to the car, opening the door and helping her inside. She didn’t say a word, still too stunned by everything that had happened. I could feel her shaking slightly as she settled into the seat. I turned back to Richard, who was slowly coming to, groaning as he tried to sit up. Without a word, I dragged him over to the car and shoved him into the trunk, slamming it shut. “What the hel

Jack's POV I stormed down to the dungeons, my mind spinning with anger. Richard had gone too far this time, and I wasn’t in the mood to play his games. The dungeon was cold and damp, the smell of mildew filling the air as I approached the cell where Richard was being held. He was leaning against the wall, his face bruised from our earlier fight, but the smug expression hadn’t left his face.“About time you showed up,” Richard sneered, standing up as I approached. “I was beginning to think you’d forgotten about me, old friend.”“I’m not here to listen to your whining,” I said coldly, stopping just outside his cell. “You’re staying here. You’re not getting out.”Richard’s eyes widened in shock. “What the hell are you talking about? Jack, you can’t leave me here! We’re supposed to be on the same side!”I crossed my arms, keeping my face stone-cold. “That was before you threatened to hurt Tamara.”His expression twisted with disbelief and anger. “This is because of that little Luna, isn’

The only reason I haven’t gotten pregnant before now is because I was using contraceptives. But this time, there’s no mistake. I’m carrying his child.” It was devastating to see the light in Tamara’s eyes dim as the heart wrenching betrayal sank in. She looked at me with a crushed expression her lips trembling. “Jack… is this true?” I wanted to, but I knew I couldn’t deny it. “Y-Yes, I had an affair with Kate. But it’s over, Tamara. I swear, I ended it because I realized I love you. I’ve changed. I wasn’t going to betray you.” Tamara’s face softened, as if she wanted to believe me, but anyone could see the hurt was still there. “Jack… how can you expect me to I trust you now?” Her words felt like a slap to my face but I knew she was right. Tamara's POV It’s hard to believe it’s been two whole years since our son’s first breath. Time had passed in a blur of late-night feedings, endless joy, and a growing love that made every challenge worth it. Today was special—today, we were celebrating our son’s first birthday. The house was filled with laughter and the warm, familiar hum of conversation. The backyard was alive with colorful balloons, streamers, and tables piled high with food. Dante had spared no expense for our son, not that I expected anything less from him. Our little boy, Gabriel, was already running around the yard, chasing after a group of kids that had come to celebrate with us. He looked so much like Dante, with those dark eyes and that wild hair. I couldn’t help but smile at the sight of him so full of life. "Can you believe it?" I asked Dante, my eyes following Gabriel as he giggled, chasing Violet’s two-year-old son, Liam, around a small inflatable castle. "Our son is already one." Dante wrapped his

Tamara's POV I slowly opened my eyes, the familiar scent of my pack house filling my senses. My body was sore, my mind still hazy, but I was alive. I was back. I blinked a few times, trying to focus, and that’s when I saw him—Dante, kneeling beside the bed, his eyes wide with relief. "Tamara," he whispered, his voice raw with emotion. Before I could say anything, he pulled me into a tight embrace, his arms around me like a shield. I froze for a moment, overwhelmed by the warmth and safety that came with his touch. I felt my heart swell with so many emotions that I couldn’t even begin to process. "I thought I lost you," he murmured against my hair, his voice breaking. "I thought I’d never see you again." I squeezed him back, my arms weak but determined to hold him. "I’m here," I whispered, my voice rough but full of relief. "You came on time, I’m here." As I pulled back slightly, I noticed the room around me was full of people. Violet, Casper, Sophie, George, Adrian, Jack, and so

Every inch of me screamed, and the poison coursing through my veins made it feel like I was suffocating. i tried to move, but my limbs felt like lead, and I could barely keep my eyes open. I needed to focus, needed to stay awake. Where was Dante? How had he found me so quickly? I could hear voices, faint at first, but growing louder. My head was swimming, and the effort to focus on them was almost unbearable. I tried to speak, to call out, but my throat was dry, my mouth too heavy. I couldn’t make a sound. The poison had me too weak. "Please, Kate," Dante’s voice begged. "Just kill me instead. Let her go. You can do whatever you want to me, but just let her live." I felt my heart shatter at the sound of his voice. He was willing to sacrifice himself for me. I wanted to tell him it was too late, that I was already dying, but the words wouldn’t come. They were trapped in my chest, along with the pain. Kate’

"Kate, please, you don’t have to do this, i really dont want to hurt you," I said, my voice barely a whisper. "You should think of the consequences of your actions and we can find a way to work it out. We can make peace because I really don't want my sister's blood on my hands." I warned her. Kate laughed, the sound twisted and cruel. "Peace? You really are as foolish as I remember. You think I want peace? You’ve always been too soft, Tamara. Too kind. And that’s what I’ve always counted on." Her voice was cold, and I could hear the satisfaction in her tone. "You’ve never learned, have you?, you’re still too fucking naive." Dante's POV I had just finished a meeting with my advisors when Casper burst through the door, his face pale with urgency. "Alpha Dante!" he gasped, his eyes wide with alarm. "We’ve spotted Amanda. She’s sneaking off at night, heading toward the woods." My heart skipped a beat, a surge of adrenaline coursing through me. I’d been expecting something like this. The more I looked into Amanda's behavior, the clearer it became that she was hiding something. "Where exactly?" I asked, already on my feet, grabbing my jacket. Casper didn’t waste time answering. "We’re tracking her now. She’s heading toward an abandoned building just outside the pack's borders. It’s isolated." I didn’t need another moment to think. I turned to George, who had been sitting in the corner. "Gather the warriors. We’re going after her." "Understood," George said, his voice steady despite the situation. He was always quick to respond when it came to my orders, especially when it involved protecting the pack.

I couldn’t stop thinking about her.My Tamara. I should’ve fought harder for her. Fuck! I messed up.I should’ve found a way to make things right between us, but instead, I had pulled away. I had let guilt consume me, thinking that distancing myself would protect her, would keep her safe from the chaos that surrounded me. But all it did was make me ache. I hadn’t heard from her in days, and I couldn’t bring myself to reach out. What was I supposed to say? How could I look her in the eye and pretend that I hadn’t been the one to push her away when all she had ever done was care for me? Yes I pushed her away to protect her but there were probably better ways to handle it.I was stupid, foolish, and now I was paying the price. The silence between us was deafening, and I felt like I was drowning in it. I took a deep breath and grabbed my phone. I had to know if she was okay. Adrian would know, right? He always seemed to be there for her, always willing to step up when I couldn’t. I d

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    Win the battle but lose the war

Tamara's POV I had changed so much in this life. I had stopped Jack, broken free from the shackles of my past, and finally taken control of my own fate. I’d fought for justice, and I was starting to see the truth revealed—one piece at a time. The lies that had surrounded me in the past were unraveling, and I could see the consequences falling upon those who had hurt me. But despite all the progress I had made, I still felt... empty. I had won the battle, but I hadn’t won my peace. I found myself sitting by the window of my room, staring out at the pack grounds. The sky was dimming as evening crept in, and I could see the faint shadows of people moving about. But despite the bustle of the pack around me, I felt disconnected, as though a part of me was still far away. I missed them—the people I left behind in the north. Dante, Violet, Sophie... all of them. Even though they had done their best to support me, it wasn’t the same as being there, with them. I had left so much behind whe

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    A vow and a proposal

Tamara's POV It had been a few days since everything had unraveled—the truth about the war, Jack’s broken ties with Kate, and his newfound loyalty to me. Despite everything that had happened, there was something almost peaceful in knowing that Jack no longer wanted to be my enemy. He was determined to be better, to fix what he had broken. He was, in a strange way, proving himself, and I couldn't deny that I was starting to forgive him. “I swear, Tamara, I’ll never turn my back on you again,” Jack said, his voice thick with sincerity as he looked at me one evening in the training room. His eyes were full of regret, but there was a new fire in them—one I hadn’t seen before. “From now on, I’m loyal to you. I’ll fight by your side.” I nodded slowly, trying to process it all. A part of me wanted to keep holding onto the anger, to punish him for the years of betrayal, for everything he had done to me and my family. But deep down, I knew I couldn’t stay angry forever. Tamara's POV The ride back to the pack house was silent, the weight of the truth still hanging heavy in the air. Jack was sitting beside me, his face pale, his eyes unfocused, as if he were trying to process everything that had just been revealed. I could feel the tension between us, the mixture of anger, sorrow, and disbelief. It was hard to believe how much had been built on lies, how much of his life had been shaped by things that weren’t true. “Tamara,” he whispered after a while, his voice cracking. “How could I have been so blind? All these years, I’ve been fighting the wrong battles. Fighting you, my family hating everyone... You didn’t deserve any of it.” I felt a pang of sympathy for him, despite everything. He had been a pawn in someone else’s game, manipulated into believing that I, and my mother, were the enemy. I’d never wanted this for him. I knew he had his own demons to deal with, but to find out that his whole life had been a lie—it made me feel bad for him. “You
