Tamara's POV

“Promise me you won’t attack Alpha Dante.” My voice was firm, leaving no room for negotiation. I crossed my arms over my chest, waiting for his response.

His face tightened, and I could see the immediate resistance in his eyes. He wanted to protest. “Tamara, you don’t understand. Dante is dangerous. If we don’t act now—”

I took a step back, pretending to pull away from him completely. His eyes widened, panic flashing across his face as he realized what was happening. He couldn’t lose control over me, not now.

“Okay, okay,” he said quickly, his hands coming up in surrender. “I won’t attack Dante. I promise.”

I studied him for a moment, surprised by how easily he’d given in. Jack never gave in this easily. He always fought for what he wanted. Was he really changing, or was this just another trick? Either way, I couldn’t help but feel a small sense of satisfaction.

“Good,” I said, stepping closer to him again.

Relief washed over his face, and before I could react, he pulled

Tamara's POV The last two weeks had been nothing short of confusing for me. Jack had been acting so... different. He’d been spending less time with Kate and more time with me. It wasn’t just the time we spent together; it was the way he behaved. I couldn’t help but notice the subtle shift in him. It was like he was avoiding Kate on purpose, deliberately pulling away from her. In our past life, this would have been unthinkable. Jack had never hesitated to be with Kate, flaunting their relationship in front of everyone, including me. Back then, he never cared about how much it hurt me. So why was he acting like this now? I sighed, walking through the dense woods toward Violet’s house. If Jack was truly changing, did that mean there was no need for revenge? I’d spent so much time planning and preparing for the day I’d take him down, but now… now I wasn’t sure what I wanted. I needed advice, and I hadn’t seen Violet since the festival. Violet’s house was at the far end of the pack

Not ever again. i fucked up and let this happen when I promised to protect you, but over my dead body will I let it continue." Violet looked up at me, her face pale and gaunt and it was clear that Richard had been starving her. “This isn’t your fault Tamara,” she whispered, trying to console me even though she was the one that had been beaten, bruised and tortured. “Richard… he’s always been like this. He always gets overly jealous when he sees me with other men, even though everyone knows that he has been cheating on me with multiple women. Anytime I confront him, or does something he doesn't like, he accuses me of being disrespectful and locks me up in chains for days." Violet cried and tears filled my eyes to see her like this. "Why don't you just leave him? leave him. and come stay with me." I begged her but she shook her head. "Richard won’t let me

Jack's first person POV I rushed toward Tamara, my heart pounding in my chest. The moment I laid eyes on her, I felt like I could breathe again. She stood there, frozen, staring at me with wide, shocked eyes. Her lips parted slightly, but no words came out.“Tamara,” I said, reaching out to her. “Are you okay? Did he hurt you?”She didn’t respond immediately. She just blinked at me, clearly rattled by what had just happened. The near-death experience, the gunshots, the danger—it was all written across her face.I remember that a few hours earlier, I had looked for her everywhere but I couldn't find her.And to my shock, that had sent a wave of panic crashing through me in a way that I hadn’t felt in years. This didn't really surprise me, because Lately, her absence made me anxious, like she would disappear one day, and someone would take her away from me. The idea of not being able to find her terrified me.I had searched the house, the pack grounds, even near the forest, but I neve

Jack's POV I let go of Richard, rushing over to her. “Tamara, are you okay? Are you hurt?” My voice was softer now, the concern leaking through despite my best efforts to stay calm. She shook her head, but she still looked confused, her eyes flicking between me and Richard. “Why didn’t you call me?” I asked, more sharply than I intended. “You were in danger. Why didn’t you call?” “I-I…” She stammered, clearly still in shock, unable to form a coherent response. “Shh, it’s okay,” I said, pulling her close, brushing a strand of hair away from her face. “You’re fine now. I’ve got you.” I guided her to the car, opening the door and helping her inside. She didn’t say a word, still too stunned by everything that had happened. I could feel her shaking slightly as she settled into the seat. I turned back to Richard, who was slowly coming to, groaning as he tried to sit up. Without a word, I dragged him over to the car and shoved him into the trunk, slamming it shut. “What the hel

Jack's POV I stormed down to the dungeons, my mind spinning with anger. Richard had gone too far this time, and I wasn’t in the mood to play his games. The dungeon was cold and damp, the smell of mildew filling the air as I approached the cell where Richard was being held. He was leaning against the wall, his face bruised from our earlier fight, but the smug expression hadn’t left his face.“About time you showed up,” Richard sneered, standing up as I approached. “I was beginning to think you’d forgotten about me, old friend.”“I’m not here to listen to your whining,” I said coldly, stopping just outside his cell. “You’re staying here. You’re not getting out.”Richard’s eyes widened in shock. “What the hell are you talking about? Jack, you can’t leave me here! We’re supposed to be on the same side!”I crossed my arms, keeping my face stone-cold. “That was before you threatened to hurt Tamara.”His expression twisted with disbelief and anger. “This is because of that little Luna, isn’

Jack's POV I felt my heart literally drop into my stomach. “Kate, no—” “Oh, it’s true,” Kate cut me off, her voice dripping with spite. “We’ve been fucking for months behind your back and you didn't even know. The only reason I haven’t gotten pregnant before now is because I was using contraceptives. But this time, there’s no mistake. I’m carrying his child.” It was devastating to see the light in Tamara’s eyes dim as the heart wrenching betrayal sank in. She looked at me with a crushed expression her lips trembling. “Jack… is this true?” I wanted to, but I knew I couldn’t deny it. “Y-Yes, I had an affair with Kate. But it’s over, Tamara. I swear, I ended it because I realized I love you. I’ve changed. I wasn’t going to betray you.” Tamara’s face softened, as if she wanted to believe me, but anyone could see the hurt was still there. “Jack… how can you expect me to I trust you now?” Her words felt like a slap to my face but I knew she was right. My heart was pounding from all the adrenaline of almost watching my pack members get slaughtered, so I didn’t even bother to glance back at him. "Tamara!" Jack’s voice was sharp and desperate. "What the hell are you doing?" I ignored him until he grabbed my arm, halting me in my tracks. I whipped around, glaring at him. “What does it look like I’m doing, Jack? I’m handling the mess you created!” Jack’s eyes flared with disbelief. “You’re actually going to marry Alpha Dante? That monster? You can’t be serious.” He exclaimed. “Oh, I’m dead serious,” I snapped, crossing my arms. “He can’t be any worse than you. And Since when do you care anyway? Kayla’s POV “If he rejects my requests because of you,” Xavier hissed, his voice low and menacing, “I’ll make sure i show you the true meaning of pain and fear.” The room felt icy as Xavier’s threat echoed in my ears. He had never ever spoken to me with such hate and disgust before. I won't lie, it hurt, but I kept my composure. 'Don’t break, Kayla. Never again.' I reminded myself. Xavier whirled around and stormed out with a smug Mia, leaving me behind with my racing thoughts. I slowly followed behind them but I was forced to a startling halt when he suddenly froze in the middle of the hallway. I followed cautiously behind him and saw why. Author's note at the bottom. Kayla’s POV It was Mia who quickly spoke up, "It's not that simple my Lord, this woman is a murderer!" she yelled and Alpha Adrian's cold eyes snapped back to me. His brow lifted and it seemed that his already intense gaze zeroed in on me even more. I felt my throat tighten like I was being suffocated but Mia refused to stop talking. "It's true Alpha, not only is she a cold hearted murderer, but who she killed were her own parents! She's not an innocent victim here, she's a monster!." Mia’s words rang in my ears like a death knell and I could only watch her smirk in satisfaction. I was frozen, feeling the weight of the traumatic accusation slapped in my face all over again. And to make matters worse, this tall, powerful dark Alpha that made me feel so many strange things would now hate me too. I forced myself to look at him, already expecting to see hate, fury or disgust in his eyes but my breath immediately hitched when I saw his expression.

(For those who don't know, He was Tamara's first mate in her past life) Kayla’s POV I could feel my cheeks heating as the stranger’s dark eyes lingered on me. His gaze wasn’t just passing; it was intense, like he was peeling away every layer of me, dissecting every secret. I shifted uncomfortably, clutching the hem of my dress, wishing I could melt into the walls of the Alpha’s office.I needed to disappear before the heat of his gaze melted me to the floor. “Please wait here, I will inform Alpha Xavier that you are looking for him,” I said softly, hoping my voice didn’t betray the nervous tremble I felt inside. I turned to leave, but before I could even take a step, the man moved with lightning speed and blocked the door. His arm braced

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    Once a luna

Kayla’s POVIt had been one month since Alpha Xavier rejected me. One long, excruciating month since I lost my child, one painful month since i lost my wolf. The memory of the pain, the losses, his cold words, his indifference as he shattered our bond, played on a constant loop in my head. Every night, I’d wake up sweating and trembling, reaching out for Kira, only to remember she was gone. My inner wolf had disappeared the moment Xavier had rejected me, leaving me an empty shell of who I used to be.What hurt even more was how he’d cut me out of his life completely. He wouldn’t speak to me, wouldn’t even look at me. Yet, for reasons I couldn’t understand, he refused to let me leave the pack. I had tried—oh, I had tried so many times to escape. But every time, the guards would catch me before I even made it to the border. Xavier had ordered them to restrain me and bring me back no matter what. Now, I was constantly watched, a prisoner in the very place I once called home.He had s

Kayla’s POV The first thing I felt when I woke up was the ache in my abdomen. It wasn’t sharp anymore, but a dull, throbbing pain that made me wince as I shifted slightly in the hospital bed. The sterile smell of disinfectant filled my nostrils, and the soft beeping of a heart monitor reached my ears, letting me know I was in the hospital. Then, like a lightning strike, panic surged through me. My baby. I shot upright despite the pain, my breath hitching. “My baby… How's my baby?” I asked, my voice trembling as I scanned the room for someone who could answer me. Dr. Marcus, who was sitting at the corner of the room looking over some papers, quickly stood and approached me. His expression was solemn, his eyes filled with pity. “Luna Kayla…” he began softly, his tone filled with regret. “No,” I whispered, shaking my head violently. “Don’t say it. Don’t you dare say it.” He hesitated, but finally, he met my gaze. “I’m so sorry. Your baby didn’t survive.” The words hit me like

Kayla’s POV Mia’s smirk was impossible to ignore, but I tried anyway. I sighed heavily, forcing myself to turn back to my tea and toast. The sharp scent of the tea leaves helped anchor me, kept me from snapping at her. She wanted a reaction—I wasn’t going to give her the satisfaction. But, of course, she wouldn’t leave it at that. “You know,” Mia began, her voice sweet with a cruel edge, “it must be so humiliating for you. I mean, I’ve only been with Xavier a short while, and I’m already carrying his heir. Meanwhile, you? Years, and you couldn’t even give him one pup.” I tightened my grip on the counter but kept my mouth shut. She was baiting me, and I wouldn’t fall for it. Mia walked closer and leaned casually against the counter. “It’s funny, really. He couldn’t keep his hands off me the moment he saw me. Said he couldn’t resist someone who actually knew how to please him.” My wolf, Kira, growled low in the back of my mind. "Ignore her," I told Kira. "She’s trying to get

Kayla’s POVI lost track of how many days I had been locked in the guest room which I had now moved into despite Xavier's protests. The only sounds I could hear over my own sobs were the soft murmurs of the pack outside my door and Xavier’s constant pleading.“Kayla, please,” his voice cracked, and I could hear the desperation. “I’m sorry. Just let me explain. Please, let me in.”But I couldn’t. Every time I thought of his face—of what he’d done—my heart twisted, and tears would pour again. I spent my days in bed, alternating between crying and staring at the ceiling, wondering how everything had fallen apart so quickly.I had tried to eat once, maybe twice, just so that my baby would have nourishment but my body rejected it every time. The knot in my stomach wouldn’t let anything settle, and I’d rush to the bathroom, retching until I was empty again. I was too weak to fight anymore.Eventually, hunger and worry for my child's well being gnawed at me and forced me to venture out, ho

Kayla's POV When I opened my eyes, the first thing I saw was Xavier’s face hovering over me. His piercing blue eyes, the ones that used to make me feel so safe, were filled with worry. He reached out to brush a strand of hair from my face, his touch as gentle as ever. “Kayla,” he murmured, his voice thick with concern. “Thank the Goddess you’re awake.” Reality crashed into me like a tidal wave. The memory of Evelyn’s cruel smirk, Mia’s tear-filled confession, and the gut-wrenching revelation of their betrayal all came rushing back. My chest tightened, and tears immediately blurred my vision. “How could you?” I whispered, my voice trembling. Xavier stiffened, his hand retracting as if my words burned him. “Kayla, I—” “No!” I cried, sitting up in bed and pushing him away. “How could you do this to me, Xavier? To us? You swore you loved me!” He closed his eyes, his jaw tightening. “I do love you,” he said quietly. I let out a bitter laugh, the sound harsh and foreign in th

Kayla's POV My husband and my maid are the reason my baby is gone, but that's not even the worst thing they did to me. The doctor’s office was colder than usual, or maybe it was just me. My palms were damp with sweat as I nervously twisted my wedding ring around my finger. Dr. Marcus cleared his throat, breaking me out of my anxious daze. “Well, Luna,” he said, his eyes softening behind his glasses. “The results are in, and I have some news for you.” I held my breath. The room seemed to shrink, the air thinning. This was it—the moment I’d been waiting for, praying for, begging the Moon Goddess for. “You’re pregnant.” For a moment, I couldn’t comprehend his words. “Pregnant?” I whispered, my voice barely audible. “Yes,” he confirmed, smiling warmly. “You’re about eight weeks along.” A sob escaped my lips before I could stop it. My hands flew to my mouth as tears spilled down my cheeks. “Oh my Goddess, are you serious?” My voice was shaky, disbelieving. “I’m really finall
