Tamara's POV

The last two weeks had been nothing short of confusing for me. Jack had been acting so... different. He’d been spending less time with Kate and more time with me. It wasn’t just the time we spent together; it was the way he behaved. I couldn’t help but notice the subtle shift in him. It was like he was avoiding Kate on purpose, deliberately pulling away from her.

In our past life, this would have been unthinkable. Jack had never hesitated to be with Kate, flaunting their relationship in front of everyone, including me. Back then, he never cared about how much it hurt me. So why was he acting like this now?

I sighed, walking through the dense woods toward Violet’s house. If Jack was truly changing, did that mean there was no need for revenge? I’d spent so much time planning and preparing for the day I’d take him down, but now… now I wasn’t sure what I wanted. I needed advice, and I hadn’t seen Violet since the festival.

Violet’s house was at the far end of the pack

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    A new breakfast routine

Authors note: Apologies, I was forced to take a break for my health, but I'm back now.Ivonne’s POV The morning light was soft but almost too bright. It streamed through the tall windows, spilling warmth over the pale sheets tangled around me. For a long moment, I just lay there, staring at the ceiling, pretending that today would be normal. Pretending that I wasn’t living in a house filled with, secrets, and people who looked at me like I they wanted me to be completely wiped off of the face of the earth. I turned to the side and exhaled. The bed was large and empty—just the way I wanted it. I’d moved moved out of Hector's room and into this one last night, despite Hector’s protests. He had argued, reasoned, and even ordered me to stay in his room because it was “safer,” --which was probably true but I didn’t care. I needed the distance. I needed my head to stop confusing safety around him with comfort, and comfort with… something else I wasn’t ready to name. The last few day

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    Friend or foe?

Ivonne's pov Despite his sarcasm, he was oddly encouraging. He would occasionally murmur, “Good call,” or “Don’t let her intimidate you,” when I dismissed a particularly arrogant woman. I caught myself feeling strangely grateful for his support — until Hector appeared at the edge of the courtyard, his presence instantly shifting the air. Sevrin stiffened beside me. I turned just in time to see Hector’s narrowed eyes on Sevrin. “You seem very invested in helping my fiancée,” Hector said coolly. Sevrin didn’t flinch. “You told me to assist her.” “Yes, but you have been overly friendly with her since you first met." I looked between them. “Oh, for heaven’s sake. He’s just helping me choose your mistresses, Hector. You could at least pretend to be grateful.” “I am grateful,” Hector said through clenched teeth. “I just find it strange how friendly my usually cold Gamma has suddenly become.” Sevrin met his Alpha’s glare evenly. “Thats because I'm her fan, I watched one of her plays

Ivonne’s POV"I never wanted any of them."He repeated but I didn't believe him.Heck! I couldn’t even look at him. Not after what all that had happened. Not after the twenty women standing in the hall earlier, preening and giggling like exotic birds waiting for their turn to perch on Hector’s arm. My chest was still tight from the memory — all their perfumes, the smug looks some of them gave me, and the quiet way Hector just stood there, saying nothing.I hissed and stormed off to my room. So when he knocked softly on my door and stepped inside without waiting for an answer, I didn’t even try to hide my irritation. “What do you want, Hector?” I asked flatly, keeping my back to him as I adjusted the ribbon on my sleeve. “I need to talk to you,” he said, voice low but steady. “About what? Which of your twenty women you’re keeping?” I snapped, turning around to face him. “Or maybe you came to see if I’ve picked which one gets to share your bed tonight?” His jaw tightened, but inst

Ivonne’s POVSevrin’s smirk widened. “Now that’s the spirit.” But I didn't care I just needed air. Real air. Not the kind that came with perfume and tension and twenty women staring daggers into my back. I turned on my heel, brushing past Justin before anyone could stop me. My head was pounding, my heart even worse. I couldn’t stand another second in that suffocating room full of fake smiles and fluttering lashes. “Excuse me,” I muttered, not even glancing at Hector. I didn’t trust myself to look at him without saying something I’d regret. But I’d barely made it halfway across the hall before I heard his voice — deep, clipped, authoritative. “Ivonne.” I froze, my hands curling into fists. Of course. He wasn’t going to let me go that easily. “I need to talk to you,” he said, his tone calm but carrying that undercurrent of command that always made my spine stiffen. “I’m not in the mood, Hector,” I shot back, not turning around. “You’ve already done enough today.” Behind me, I

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    Excuse you?

Ivonne's pov He turned back to me, his voice lower this time. “You seem to know a lot of men, Ivonne.” I froze. “Excuse me?” He didn’t answer — just stared at me with that unreadable look that made my stomach twist in irritation. Before I could tell him exactly what I thought of his tone, Sevrin spoke again. “Speaking of men and women, we’ve got an issue that needs sorting.” I blinked. “What issue?” Sevrin crossed his arms. “The concubines.” I groaned. “Please tell me you’re sending them away from my home.” “That’s… not exactly what’s happening.” “What?” I said sharply. “Sevrin, they’re driving me insane. Half of them seem to keep parading around the hallways like models in a perfume commercial.” He lifted a brow. “That’s sort of the point.” “What point?” I snapped. Sevrin sighed. “There’s a council order. Since Hector is Alpha and you’re his Luna by arrangement, the council demands that four of the concubines be officially chosen as his permanent companions.”

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    A lot of women

Ivonne’s POV When I woke again, the room was dim, the soft evening light slanting through the curtains. My head still throbbed faintly, and the last thing I remembered was Justin’s face above me — the worried look in his eyes before everything went black. Now, he was still there. Sitting quietly by the window, scrolling through his phone. “...You didn’t have to stay,” I said hoarsely. Justin looked up immediately, relief softening his features. “You scared everyone, you know that?” “I didn’t mean to faint,” I muttered. “The cameras were just… overwhelming.” “I figured,” he said gently. “They were relentless. Like sharks that smelled blood.” I sighed and rubbed my temples. “I’m fine now. Really. You can go back to whatever you were doing before saving me from total humiliation.” He gave a small smile. “What if I told you this is what I was doing? Guarding fainting heiresses.” I rolled my eyes. “You’re impossible.” Before he could reply, the door opened — hard. Hector stepped
