“If only you’ll hear us out, Shannon,” Ricky stood up from his chair and his brother did the same. 

“Guards!” I yelled and a number of them made their way into the room. 

“Hold them!” I said, pointing at Ricky, Jules, and Cole.

“We don’t mean you any harm, we swear on the memory of our late father,” Ricky said. 

Alpha Robin had been the only Mayert who was kind to me and I mourned his death after I heard the news. I knew he would’ve died heartbroken over how his sons had ruined his legacy.
