Shannon’s POV

Ricky, Jules, and Cole remained silent as they stared at me. I could see their eyes and the hurt in them. They were fighting their internal demons and trying to swallow what I had just said.

They weren’t used to being in this spot given the fact that they had been on top of the world all of their lives, adjusting to this new arrangement of mine was going to be a difficult task for them and it was part of the reason why I had chosen it.
