Chapter 64
Elika did as he ordered, already wishing the day was over as she stepped towards him; his mechanical white eyes lifeless. He tugged her closer when she stopped, examining her wounded back; his hands shaking as his fury only increased. Closing her eyes, the princess waited for her punishment to come, only it never did.
The dark lord stepped around her and knelt before the man, his tone littered with a new hate. “You will not die today good sir. But you will die. And when you do, you would have begged for it.”
“Fuck you.” The man gasped, causing the princess to smile as she opened her eyes; knowing that he would regret those words in the days to come.
She turned to watch as Darkous raised his fists, knocking the man out in one blow before rising back to his feet, his eyes now locked solely on the princess. She shivered suddenly, knowing that she must have done something wrong, something to anger her uncle.
