The blood began to corrupt the lion-like beast as he snarled, tearing into the second mans chest and ripping out his still-beating heart; killing him almost instantly. She watched as the intruders eyes dulled, all life draining from his large form as the last moments before his horrific death played across his features; filling her with nothing but fear. The young immortal princess winced slightly as Darren poured more of the burning liquid onto the deep wounds across her back, her fingers digging into the hard wood flooring as she stifled a cry; the large training room now empty of all soldiers.
