Leave The Light On

I watched Zayn clear up the kitchen quickly and then he set up the table. He looked like he was proud to be making breakfast. And the shirtless look for sure turned me on.

“I want you to stay away from the war room today.” He informed me as he sat down at the dining table. I was sitting there too and waiting for him to sit so I could start eating. I was really hungry and the food looked really good.

“Okay, no problem. I would try to do other things.” I gave him a smile and he smiled back.

He placed some of the bacon in his mouth and I took that as my cue to start eating. I started eating too and the food tasted just as good as it looked. “You have not really talked much about your job recently. Do you still work with that newspaper place?”

I exhaled deeply. He was right, I was not talking about my job to anyone. It was not like lost it because I did not. But after working there for the past year, I think I finally realized that it was not for me.
