Chapter 7 He Stood Me Up

'Simone pov'

I woke up with the sound of my phone ringing. I looked at the time and saw it was 7 o'clock.

Who is calling at this time. It's so early in the morning. Answering the phone without looking who it was.

"Hello". I said sleeply.

"Good morning babe". Said a husky voice. I looked at the phone and saw it was a private number. Who is this.

But then no body call me babe but Andrew. Well except Amy ofcourse but duh come on. It's a male's voice. Not so sure if it's really him. So i decided to ask.

"Who is this". I asked totally awake now.

"It's Andrew". He said. Ooh I already know. Wait where did he get my number.

"Oooh. Where did you get my number". I asked curiously.

"I have my ways babe". He said. Rolling my eyes although he can't see me.

"So why did you call me this early?". I asked annoyed. I'm still sleepy.

"I just wanted you to help me with math.....today". He said. Rude much I thought. Doesn't he know the word please.

"Today? Why? Today is sunday. Why not tomorrow?". I hissed. I mean today is sunday. It's a rest day. LOL.

"Because I want you to help me today, is that a crime. Besides I have to pass the test. Meet me at the park in an hour and don't be late". He said. Again without saying please. Doesn't he have manners.

"Fine". I hissed. And hung up before he could say anything else.

Stepping out of bed. I brushed my teeth and than went to take a shower. After showered I made my bed.

Going in to the kitchen I saw Amy on the stove flipping pancakes and bacon. So I decided to do a payback for what she did to me the other day.

Tiptoeing to the kitchen, I went behind her and screemed. "Booooooh!".

She turned around in a flash. When she saw it was me. She narrowed her eyes at me. Making laugh hard, clutching my stomach.

"What the hell Simone. It's not funny. Why did you do that. I could burn the house down". She said in a angry voice. That made me laugh harder.

"Payback for what you did to me the other day. Payback is a bitch". I said. Rolling her eyes at me, she went on with what she was doing.

Suddenly she turned around again and said. "One point for me and one point for you. So were even now".

"Oh so now we are playing a game?". I asked looking at her.

"Yes and the game begins from now on". She said. She have me a wicked smile and I know she is up to something.

I looked at the time and it was still early.

"Amy i'm going out today. I have to help Andrew with math. So if you feel bored you can go out if you want". I said.

"Oh Andrew". She said wiggling her eyebrows. Rolling my eyes at her.

"Can i have some of the pancakes?". I asked. She nodded. We ate in silent. After eating breakfast I went in my room to pick an outfit.

I decided to wear a tight ripped skinny jeans and a plain white t-shirt. Putting a lip balm on my lips because I have dry lips.

I'm not a fan of makup. So I never wear them only if I go out. Maybe not even when I go out. That day was a one time thing.

For shoes I decided to wear my runners. I looked at the mirror and saw I looked good for the day.

Picking my math notebook and my bag to put my stuff in it. Like my cellphone and spare housekeys incase Amy is going out.

After i'm done I went to tell Amy that i'm going.

"Amy! I'm going now". I yelled. Sometimes this girl is deaf.

"Okay. Just be careful okay". She screamed back.

"I will". I said.

Walking to the park. It's not that far from our apartment. I came there five over eight and I don't see a sight of Andrew.

Look who's talking. He said 'don't be late'. And now look who's late. Minutes turned into an hour.

So I decided to go home and i'm beyond angry. He just stood me up. It's his problem if he doesn't pass the test.

I could care less. If he is always going to be like this then I don't want to help him anymore.

I love Andrew but sometimes he's doing like a dick. I loved him since I was fiftheen years old. I tried to do everything only that he could notice me. That sound desperate but I'm not. I'm really not.

But I failed. So I stopped when he dated a populair girl of our school. I stopped because it was useless.

I'm not that beautiful compared to that girl. But my love for him didn't fade. After they broke up he became the playboy he is now.

Sleeping and whoring around. Only Amy knows about this.

I was lost in my own thought that I didn't know that I was already in front of my apartment door.

I opened the door with my spare key. Stepping inside I called Amy but didn't hear anything.

Maybe she's out. Shrugging my shoulders i decided to look tv.

After some time my phone buzzed. I look who it was and saw a text from Andrew.

Hey i'm sorry I didn't come today. Something happened.

- Andrew-

Rolling my eyes. I decided to reply.

It's okay. But next time if you don't come, you should tell me.

-Simone-

I know and i'm sorry. I can make it up to you. Tomorrow let's have dinner?.

-Andrew-

Did he just asked me on a date. Meh probably just because he felt bad for me.

Okay. That sounds great. At what time?.

-Simone-

Meet me at the dinero not far from your apartment at eight o'clock. How does that sound?.

-Andrew-

Okay that's fine with me. See you tomorrow. Bye Andrew.

-Simone-

I wanted to say bye dickhead but I held it. I know he only wanted dinner with because he felt bad. I rolled my eyes at the thought.

Rolling my eyes at what he just called me. I mean i'm happy that he called me that. But why did he call me that?

The day went by fast and it was already dark oudside. Looking at the clock I saw it was already seven o'clock.

I decided to make dinner for myself. I bet Amy isn't coming home right now maybe later. She's  probably with her boyfriend.

I made pasta. After eating I went in my room to read a book called Silent love. I love romance books because it looks like i'm in the story.

After some time I decided to go to bed. Sleep took over me with Andrew and the date on my mind.
